Greetings Adventurers,

Earlier this morning we were made aware of an issue with the Baralku server. Upon investigating we found that a server crash caused the world to spring forward in time. This in turn caused many time based mechanics such as taxes and darkness events to all progress dramatically. Unfortunately, due to the time between the server having issues and the time that the problem was discovered the option to roll back the server became impossible. While this is not the most ideal solution, we feel that it is the best choice so as not to risk introducing more issues on characters after a rollback.

We have performed a quick maintenance on Baralku and the server is now back and available for play. We are currently investigating the root cause of this issue as well as building systems to alert us to these types of situations sooner.

We investigated this and looked at options for rollbacks, but unfortunately the long term disruption from rolling the world back at this point (housing and station persistence concerns mainly) is too great. The world has come back online without a rollback.

Stopping the events before they happen is an incredibly high priority for us. The behavior of these world-time events is complex, and not necessarily the same across worlds. We are investigating and alarming those events as we learn more.

TLDR - Die Funktion für den Servertransfers ist getestet und bereit zum Einsatz. Wir haben jedoch bemerkt, dass viele Spieler durch die extrem langen Wartungsarbeiten im Laufe der letzten Woche weniger Zeit zum Spielen hatten. Community managers don’t participate in moderation decisions or have visibility on them. We can work with the Mod team on issues but it isn’t a part of our function day to day.

Hey everyone,
Please be assured we monitor all server every day all day, we have super capable folks dedicated to that task.
I understand that it is really easy to react intensely to ups and downs and changes week over week following launch. We appreciate how concerned you are about the health of games and servers.
If you have feedback on the experience you are having during your game play that is constructive please do continue to share that. It is hard to measure the “feel” of playing on a server.

Hey folks,
We are 100% aware of the issue you are surfacing. We are aware of all of the issues being surfaced by the Community in our forums, Discord, Reddit, in-game, across Social Media.
The team is working very hard to prioritize and address as many issues a possible on a weekly basis.
I am working with the team to identify our Top 20 player concerns and provide updates and progress reports on how we are tackling them and what is in our way. I will get that published as soon as possible to give you broader visibility on where we are at and it will give players the chance to shout if we’re missing anything.

We know the situation is upsetting and we completely sympathize.

There is going to be more information about transfers coming out soon including time frames and answers for most of not all of the questions that have been put into this thread.
