Steam users are able to opt-in to the Experimental Branch, where we have pushed a rapid patch to fix a number of crashes and other problems seen since release. We’ll be rolling out these fixes to other platforms as soon as possible.

To play in Experimental, right-click on No Man’s Sky from the Steam library page and select “Properties”. Among the available tabs will be the “BETAS” tab. Enter “3xperimental” in the textbox and press “CHECK CODE”, then select it from the dropdown menu.

Thanks for mentioning this in a thread, I would appreciate it if someone would open a ticket in out Zendesk and attach the crash dmp so we can see whats going on.

The .dmp file can be found in your computers temp folder (If you search for "%temp%" in your Windows search bar, this should come up).

Hi,

Being booted to the front end is something that should have been fixed recently with a mandatory steam client update.

It seems like this issue may still be happening? If people could sanity check that their steam client is up to date and play the game online.

If people are still experiencing this today when playing online, can you please list your steam client version and confirm you are still seeing the issue?

We have updated the experimental branch build:

• Improved vsync on AMD.
  
• Fixed some rare crashes.
  
• Fixed some windowing issues.

Also there was an update to the nvidia driver last week which addresses some issues.
