In order to give players more options in how they purchase cosmetic items, we have enabled individual purchasing of most items contained within featured shop bundles, including skins and weapon charms. Though we believe bundles represent great value for players who want to buy all the included items, we understand that some players may want to purchase certain bundled items separately at their full price.

This change is now live in the game across all regions.

Shortly after the launch of Overwatch 2, we discovered a bug that was causing console-specific career profile stats to be reset for players each time they played a game of Overwatch on console. This bug was due to the statistics data initially using any PC pool stats to build on instead of console pool stats, even if a player does not play on the PC platform. We have deployed a fix to this bug, and games completed on console platforms after the fix will correctly store statistics on career profiles. We are now working on restoring stats from Overwatch to all Overwatch 2 console accounts and will do that for all console players. Unfortunately, due to the nature of this bug, any stats from matches played since October 4 through October 18, 2022 will not be recoverable and will not be reflected in your current career profile. Here are a few questions and answers to understand how this will affect players.

Double XP Weekends are here! Starting today, your accumulated match XP from each match played will be doubled during eligible weekends. Please note any XP rewarded for completing challenges, bonus XP for participating in flex queue or impacted roles in Role Queue, and any XP rewards from endorsements are not doubled during double XP weekends. You can earn double XP for matches played on these dates:

• October 21 – 11:00 AM PDT to October 24 – 11:00 AM PDT
• October 28 – 11:00 AM PDT to October 31 – 11:00 AM PDT
• November 24 – 11:00 AM PDT to November 28 – 11:00 AM PDT

When you receive double XP for your matches played, you should see the total number of XP after each match be higher than normal. However, during our first two double XP weekends, no direct in-game messaging will indicate XP has been doubled. We will be adding messaging in-game coming in future double XP weekends.

We spoke to the Sound Design team about this, and we’re going to address this in a future game update, hopefully addressing the discomfort you’re experiencing.

Also, based on what we’ve seen so far with our challenge system and feedback from players, we have made some adjustments to make the team kills based challenges easier to complete. The “Cleaning House” weekly challenge will reduce the number of team kills required from 20 to 10. The “Finish Them” daily challenge will reduce the number of team kills from 3 to 1. That update is now live and new players who complete ten tiers in any Battle Pass season will be granted access to our General Discussion forum along with most other discussion channels. Hello Ember - sorry you are getting so many crashes! Something to try - it looks like you might have a recorder app installed that is hooking into our process called “Medal”, via medal-hook64.dll. Could you try uninstalling that software and giving Overwatch another try?

Hello Saber - sorry you are experiencing crashes. Thanks for posting your crash code - I took a quick look, and the game is crashing trying to run some injected code from RzChromaSDK64.dll, which unfortunately has been unloaded at the time of the crash.

There are some tech support posts on dealing with Razer programs and Overwatch - they might help you out.

Going to be locking this topic as we have a primary thread in our #technical-support forum tracking this problem.

The premium Battle Pass priced at 1,000 OW Coins does not come with any unlocked tiers, but you do get 20% bonus XP for the remainder of your progression of the Battle Pass.

You may need to follow this procedure to reclaim your Widowmaker Noire Preorder skin. If you can let me know if this works, it would be appreciated.

The Overwatch 2 Watchpoint Pack does not come with the bonus twenty tiers unlocked. There is a separate Premium Battle Pass listing that comes with the 20 tiers unlocked however purchasing the Watchpoint Pack will make that option no longer available for purchase. The Watchpoint Pack does come with the season 1 premium battle pass and an additional 2,000 Overwatch Coins which you can use those coins to buy additional tiers if you want.
