Greetings heroes,

We are updating some of our Unranked leaver penalty queue suspension times. Our goal is to adjust our queue suspension times to not be as impactful for those who may leave for reasons beyond their control, while still staying firm on those who are deliberately leaving multiple games.

  • Leaving two to three of your last 20 games played will result in a 2-minute suspension from queuing for most modes (previously 5 minutes).
  • Leaving four to five of your last 20 games played will result in a 10-minute suspension from queuing for most modes (previously 20 minutes).
  • Leaving six to nine of your last 20 games played will result in a 2-hour suspension from queuing for most modes (previously 4 hours).
  • Leaving 10 or more games of your last 20 games will still result in a 48-hour suspension from queuing for most modes.

This change does not affect leaver penalties for leaving Competitive Play matches. You can learn more...

Hello Brex - thanks for sending in your crash report! I think we’ve got this fixed in the Battle.Net version, but I’m not certain when the Steam version will be updated. Hang tight for just a bit longer, or try the Battle.Net version.

We’ve identified an issue that incorrectly penalized some players with a Season Ban after being disconnected from only a single Competitive Game on April 23rd. We have identified the issue and have prevented additional bans. We are now working to remove the Season Ban from impacted accounts. Thank you for your patience as we work to fix the issue for affected players. There is no need to start a ticket with Customer Support as they are unable overturn Competitive or Unranked leaver penalties.

Hello! Followed you over from the other thread.

Looking at the crash report, it’s odd because it shows that you still have an old Nvidia driver from back in June 2023.

Can you try the steps in this article to get your DXDiag info and see what driver information it shows there?

It looks like you may also be on an old driver, I recommend updating to the latest Nvidia driver as well!

Please update to the latest driver version using AMD Adrenaline. The latest driver as of 4/18/24 should be 31.0.24027.1012

After updating, attempt to play Overwatch.

If you are still experiencing crashes, try disabling AMD Radeon Boost.

If you are still experiencing the crash after this, please let us know.

Hello SeaGoatGames! Thanks for sending in your crash reports, it’s very helpful! I took a look, and your latest crash report is showing an AMD driver date from last year. Could you try updating to the latest driver on AMD’s website please, and try running again?
