The action is at an all-time high with our newest hero: Ashe. Take on the enemy team as a legendary outlaw armed with the Viper, a level-action rifle which can be shot from the hip or with aim down sights, increasing her firepower significantly. Light your enemies on fire with Dynamite and gain the upper hand in any situation using the Coach Gun, which can be used to propel yourself to coveted vantage points or blow away enemies. When the going gets tough, get tougher by calling in your omnic sidekick Bob. On the field, he’ll use his arm cannons to shred enemies while you pick off yellow-bellied opponents on the run.

Currently, if you play Ashe on PC and have higher than 60 fps, the aim down site (ADS) animation can look choppy or "stepped". There is no lag going on. The ADS still happens at the correct speed. But the animation looks can feel a bit off.

In an upcoming patch, the ADS is smoothed out regardless of how high your fps is and should feel much better.

Unfortunately, right now, the patch that it is fixed in is 1.32 (1.31 is on the PTR right now). We're looking into pulling the fix forward but it's unlikely. It's a lot of code and needs a fair amount of testing so we don't want to rush it and risk breaking something else.

Apologies for the issue.

Hey there, sorry for this issue. One of our UI engineers is taking a look at this and we think we may have a solution to work around this. Unfortunately it may not make it in until the 1.32 patch.

Cheers.

Hey Everyone, we have a fix for this internally and hope to push it out with our next patch.

In the meantime, there is a workaround. Reset your user volume sliders back to 100 and turn the game down using the Windows volume mixer in the Windows sound options.

Thank you all for bringing the issue to our attention.

This post is to track further updates to the PTR as we make them. The following changes are planned for a PTR patch that will probably come on Monday.

Brigitte

  • Shield Bash
    • Damage reduced from 50 to 5
  • Inspire Passive
    • Cooldown reduced from 1.5s to 1.0s
    • Duration increased from 5s to 6s
    • Total healing increased from 80 to 100

Dev Notes: Reduces Shield Bash’s damage reduces her total stun combo damage potential while still allowing Whip Shot and her basic melee attacks to retain their full strength. Brigitte is a hybrid tank/healer, and lately we’ve been reducing her effectiveness by reducing the power of her non-healing functionality, but we want to make sure she is still a viable pick so we’re increasing the uptime of her Inspire passive to help increase her overall healing output.

Doomfist

  • Seismic Slam
    • Victims no longer lose air c...
