Would that be separate from the possibility of Owlcat adapting more Pathfinder Adventure Paths in the future?

I have high hopes about getting to sail a pirate ship around the Shackles in one of your games someday!

Content updates for Wrath so far. As for the rest, time will tell. Don't have much info to share on that yet except that the closest new project yet to be announced is not Pathfinder. But if you love Pathfinder, I'm certain you'll be excited by that as well :)

Yup, it's a thing for all companion quests.

It's more of a technical limitation than intended behaviour, but it requires too much effort to deal with to be fixed. Basically, you need the whole zone and future encounters to have a completely new set of reactions on the character's death. In terms of work it's like designing a whole new set of companion quests for each of the companions, that's hundreds of hours of work for dozens of people. Considering how rare this situation would be (amount of people who play on last Azlanti or wouldn't reload right away in case of a companion death is very minor), that would be a huge waste of resources that are better spent elsewhere.

It's annoying for the Last Azlanti, I know, but I hope you understand why we went for the game over button.

Yeah, it's a bug. Thank you for bringing my attention, I've notified the programmers.

Hi, does this fix the issue of Seelah's companion quest at Act 3 where no dialogue is triggered when Seelah and my character enter the Jewelry Artisan together? I cant progress since there are no dialogues. Thank you.

Should be. But better check.

I've already reported it here. Why does the customer have to jump through these hoops just to inform the devs about the bugs present in the game? If no one in Owlcat is willing to take what I've reported here seriously, then you're free to go ahead and let this issue persist and affect your other customers.

Report in-game sends the save file and all logfiles and system specs necessary for the bugfix. Without it, fixing bugs is walking in the darkness. Your particular case has been tested right away, for example, and does not reproduce on test machine.

I tested it some more and here is what I've found:

Test 1.

Load a save where Player Character is outside the tent, and who needs to speak to the queen. This is the beginning of Act 2.

Enter the tent, and after exhausting all the dialogue options, Daeran does not appear.

Test 2.

Load the same save.

Enter the tent. Player Character is now inside the tent. Save. Quit to menu screen.

Load this new save. Talk to the queen and after exhausting all the dialogue options, Daeran appears.

So, in other words, the bug does not appear if I make a save immediately after entering an area or room, then quit to the menu screen, and then reloading the new save.

This suggests the game is still held together by duct tape and a prayer, if the player has to proactively save and reload upon entering a new area just to prevent bugs like this.

Still need your save through a bugreport. Please send it and give me the wording :)

Happy the companion bug got fixed fast, that was a nasty one.

Hopefully the spell merge progression bug can get fixed soon, holding off on continuing my run until then.

Can confirm that fix is in the works.

Yes, still missing.

Can you please post a bugreport via ALT+B and give me the exact wording that you post in-game so I can find it in the database? Also please tell which scenes he is missing at.

  • In some cases your companions could disappear never to be seen again, when they were not supposed to do it - fixed. However, if you have experienced such a disappearance already, you may need to load an earlier save, before that happened. For example, if Nenio disappeared when you entered the Lost Chapel area, you will need a save before you entered Lost Chapel;

Daeran is still missing in some of the scenes, which then leads to subsequent scenes missing too.

Have you tried loading earlier saves before the problem appeared?

Nvm I read about the issue but checking the thread it seems the bug relates to the first bug that's been fixed in this patch, sorry :)

No problem ^^

I hope this fixes all the companions not showing up bugs reported recently, like during council for Drezen assault, or during advisors' meetings, or during companions' personal quests.

Should be, yes. If it still occurs, let me know.

Exactly this and a couple of other similar encounters were the reason of this change :)

Don't panic, we are an international company with offices and employees at Cyprus and multiple other locations besides Moscow. This doesn't affect development of our projects.

I'd even ask u/CharlesEverettDekker to change the misleading title, as no halting of development or cancelling DLCs is even discussed at the moment. Work on all projects goes normally.
