Playing on Switch.

When trying to enter the new DLC area (Currantglen) for Ulbrig’s companion quest in Act 2, the loading screen is stuck at 100% and therefore I cannot enter the new area.

I tried it several times by now, restarting the game and even my console in between attempts, and at one point the game even disconnected me from the cloud due to inactivity because I was stuck in the 100% loading screen for too long.

Anything else I could try besides moving on and trying again later?

I've passed the info to the team, we'll check what's going wrong there.

Just checked, neither old nor completely new characters after 2.1 don't have them working. All mods were turned off during this test.

Even freshly started game?

If so, please leave a bug report via ALT+B.

I still encounter spell/fast action/inventory hotbars not working at all.
All mods deactivated, update downloaded, file integrity checked.

If the game was previously played with mods, the save is irreversibly modified. Simply turning mods off may not be enough. If you had any, I would recommend waiting for updates or reverting to an older version meanwhile. It's available in the beta branches.

And the reward from the Bear God/Spirit?

  • When entering the Forest of the Forgotten Spirits in The Last Sarkorians DLC, a dialogue with Sigvorn could start again – fixed.

Quests

  • In some cases, the party was unable to continue the quest about guarding the caravan in Gundrun – fixed;

Thank you!

Hello, not yet, first we need to improve the quality of textures to be good enough. We're continuing work in this direction.

I've noticed an issue with the recent patch on Lich mythic path, the channel negative energy to heal undead granted by Danse Macrabre doesn't heal undead, and I can't start the attack on the midnight fane without the game crashing on the loading screen, it always happens on the loading screen right after the player character destroys the Iomedae symbol on the ground

Hello, regarding Danse Macabre - please report a bug by pushing both sticks. We'll take a look.

For Midnight fane. This place has memory issues, and while it was improved in the last patch, older gen can still get this error sometimes depending on build and party composition. To circumvent it, try saving the game as close to entering Midnight Fane as possible, then exiting the game and loading the save. That will clean the memory and let you pass the critical point.

For ps4 as well?

Yes. For all platforms. It's already out on PC, PS and Xbox will soon follow. Switch will come a bit later as usual due to a significantly longer publishing process.

Any ideas?

It's a critical bug on all platforms, already fixed internally, expecting a hotfix in a few hours.

I am sorry it will probably be an issue for you as well if you start any new playthroughs :(

There's a new universal bug on all platforms there, the old one is fixed. The new one will be removed with a hotfix tomorrow.

Damn, seems like (mythic) feats for armor and poison won't be coming anytime soon. Pyjama + monk dip meta stands strong :/

They're still on the list. Sorry that it takes so long :(

Update: Yes, indeed there's a problem with the region. We've contacted Sony.

Most appreciated, Starrok! Maybe it just feels longer than it should waiting for the screen to load coming from how it was before, but it does at current feel like it's adding quite a bit of time during those first few levels where you're just hitting next, next, finish. Maybe it won't be so bad later on. As well, it is loading previously leveled character portraits to the confirmation screen before wiping to the hero you're actually leveling. Not certain if that is intended or just a small side effect of the new level up system, but thought it might be worth noting. I was leveling up Lann and on the last page Cam's portrait popped up and fade wiped to Lann's after

Interesting, I'll let the team know. Yeah, it's a bit inconvenient, but at least it gives some locations a better stability. We hope to get rid of it in future as optimization continues.
