Context: area: Neathholm (no option for level up screen)
Aspect: UI (no option for menu)
Description: Incredibly long screen transition/fade wipe when going from no menu to after releasing the button to level up. Could not attach a video and may be an older problem (I did take a small break to wait for the DLC to come out) but it adds a really long screen wipe transition when trying to level up and when exiting level up system that hadn't been there when I last played. Two new files, same problem on both, all previous saves deleted after 1.11, recently deleted a few games so a decent amount of space on my HD, console is 1-2 months old.
Thank you! The fadeout is intended, it's a measure to reduce crashing, as it cleans the memory during transition. However it only should take a few seconds, so we'll check if anything went wrong with it.

Levelling up now takes more time than before. There is a very long pause (30 seconds) before you get to the level up screen. This problem becomes worse when respecing a character with several levels.
That's a measure to reduce crashing - that fadeout cleans up the memory. We intend to reduce the delay or get rid of it as we continue optimization.

Hello! The team's doing their best, we recognize a huge demand from the community for cleaner textures (and come on, we also want our game to look good). We'll focus our efforts in this direction even more after this update.
Sadly I can't give any ETA beyond "as soon as possible", as optimization works are unpredictable - it may yield negligible increase for weeks or even months, and then a sudden discovery of a large memory leak may give significant improvement. We'll be gradually improving the quality up to what the console can handle with acceptable stability, given the current optimization progress.
Side note: it appears that not all graphics updates are functioning correctly after the patch specifically on PS5. We've discovered why (related to some nuances with backwards compatibility) and we're preparing to enable them in the hotfix. Picture should improve further after that.
Yup, looked at my mod installations again and verifies my files in steam. It’s working now, so I probably f**ked something up on my end.

Peculiar, we've checked from our side, no visible problems from the first look. Did you buy the DLC? It's a part of SP2, so will not appear if you only have SP1. If on PC, make sure you've opted out of beta branches if you used them.

PS5 here. Going through 10 thousand delight door to upper city broke saving the game. Any attempt gives savingError in the log. Tried to submit a bug and it crashed.
A known problem universal for all platforms including PC, hotfix is on the way.
Bug seems related to Grudges to Settle Quest. I reloaded before confronting Chivarro, and everything is now ok (as long as I don’t pursue that quest).

I did spend some time tracking down the issue and found that if I have never set foot inside the TTD I can save all I want. I can even save all I want after visiting the TTD. The trouble seems to happen after I reload a save after having visited the TTD. At that point if I ever set foot in the TTD again I get the SaveError problem again. I tested this by running through every quest in the building, saving every step of the way with no issue. It was only after I reloaded a save that the problem reappeared. To make sure it wasn't something I did in there necessarily I went back to my save after first entering the building and it too caused the issue where SaveError was happening. Going back to the save just before ever going into the building allows me to go through all of it again without the SaveError returning. However, again, the save error returns as soon as I load any save after having visited the TTD.

I also get the saving error after entering Ten Thousand Delights during the "Traces of Shadows" quest. Happens right after Nocticula talks to me. Playing on PC

They look the same, dude. They aren’t the equivalent of mid-level on pc at all. Textures are (still) very poor, very aliased and the shadows are terrible. All this is especially noticeable on the character selection screen, where the graphics look like something out of clayfighters. It really is very poor still.
Frankly, it makes me think there’s a bug preventing the textures from kicking in or something, because I can’t understand how the narrative of “high res texture update” has been perpetuated all this time, if you guys knew this was the final result for this patch.
We're checking it at the moment. While the change is not dramatic, there should still be a noticeable difference, if you're certain it's not there, perhaps there's indeed a bug or a non-activated setting. If that's true, we'll correct it in a hotfix.

Hi, i do get a error messages if after i go inside 10 thousand i try to enter nocticula palace.
Also the problem with saves after 10 thousand occur in act 4 and in act 3 if demon and you try to do the mythic path quest, if you enter inside ten thousand at any point, you can't save anymore.
