After ExileCon 2023, we invited Subtractem to our office to interview Chris Wilson, Managing Director at Grinding Gear Games, and Mark Roberts (Neon), one of the Game Directors of Path of Exile 2. Check out the interview in today's news post!

Crucible will not be going core, but there are components of it that we really like that we may find a way to bring back in future expansions.

We loved watching everyone develop their Crucible trees to create unique builds utilising all the different Crucible skills available, so all your items with Crucible trees will move with you to Standard. However, the "Totems Explode on Death" Crucible Skill will likely be adjusted when that happens.

When the current league ends in a few weeks, all your existing Geodes, Remnants and Magmatic Ores will be deleted. If you have any Crucible challenges to complete, you still have some time to do so!

Very soon, we’ll kick off ExileCon 2023, where we will reveal everything there is to know about Path of Exile 2 and the upcoming 3.22 Path of Exile expansion.

At ExileCon, attendees will have exclusive first access to a variety of new Path of Exile merchandise. Today we'd like to give you a glimpse of the goodies that are available.

Our new merchandise includes 17 new t-shirts, a selection of hoodies, 24 enamel pins, posters, the incredibly popular Celestial Cat Socks as well as the new Chaos Orb Socks and a range of desk pads.

ExileCon 2023, the second official Path of Exile convention, is in a week! We have updated the {LINK REMOVED}ExileCon web page with the schedule for the event. There are a number of gameplay demonstrations and developer talks, as well as appearances from your favourite Path of Exile content creators and special guests. We'll continue to tweak the schedule over the next week if various presentations or speakers change.

For streamers that would like to share the ExileCon experience with viewers that aren't able to make it in person, we've put together a Code of Conduct for live streaming the event. If you plan to be IRL streaming during ExileCon, please adhere to the following guidelines so the event can remain fun and safe for everyone.

Please respect people's space. If someone is giving social cues that they don't want to be included in your stream, please respect that and move on. The comfort of ExileCon attendees will always take priority over IRL Streaming.Please do not crash any presentations or interviews. You can watch them with your audience but do not be disruptive in any way to the normal flow of the convention.Please do not talk during any of the developer talks.Please do not film or stream any meet and greets. For almost ten years, we've posted news at least five times a week, sometimes more! In the lead-up to ExileCon, we will be breaking this streak in order to focus on preparing for ExileCon. Our community team (and the development team) is all-hands-on-deck preparing for ExileCon itself and want to focus all of our efforts on this work. This means that unless there's an important update to make, we won't be posting anything.

We will still be posting all important news like how to prepare for ExileCon, the ExileCon content schedule, what Twitch Drops you can expect etc - it's just that we won't fill the other days with things like fan art showcases etc.

After ExileCon, we'll resume posting on our normal schedule in the lead up to our 3.22 expansion. We appreciate your understanding and can't wait to show you what we're working on!

The week after GamesCom, our team will be headed over to Seattle to show off Path of Exile 2 at {LINK REMOVED}PAX West! We'll be there throughout the event from September 1st to the 5th.

If you aren't able to make it to ExileCon or GamesCom, this will be a great opportunity to get your hands on trying out Path of Exile 2 and meet some of the GGG team!

Due to time constraints, we won't be able to have a fan meet-up before or after the event, but we'd love to have a chat during it if you're there!
