Alongside the development of our next expansion, the team is continuing to work on updates for the current Synthesis League. The upcoming 3.6.4 patch contains improvements of graphical performance of several player skills, monster skills and areas as well as various bug fixes. We're planning to deploy this update by the middle of next week. For this news post we've prepared a preview of its patch notes. Please note that the final patch notes may be changed prior to the release of the 3.6.4 update.


  • Improved the graphical performance of Frostbolt, Frost Bomb, Magma Orb, Molten Strike, Summon Flame Golem and Vortex.

  • Improved the graphical performance of various monster skills, encounters and areas.

We're excited to announce that the team at BEAT esports have worked with us to produce a Path of Exile invitational where many top Path of Exile racers will compete in a pair of races, culminating in killing Act 10 Kitava. There's over $2,000 in prizes available and the winner will be flown to New Zealand to compete in the racing grand finale at ExileCon!

It's an invitational event which means that the racers who are participating have been invited exclusively. Raiz and Ziggy will be shoutcasting live so it should hopefully be a fun watch for the Path of Exile community!

We're excited to announce that the team at BEAT esports have worked with us to produce a Path of Exile invitational where many top Path of Exile racers will compete in a pair of races, culminating in killing Act 10 Kitava. There's over $2,000 in prizes available and the winner will be flown to New Zealand to compete in the racing grand finale at ExileCon!

This is the 5th entry in the BEAT Invitational series. They've partnered with GGG, and Sennheiser to make this one of their best events yet.

We're happy to announce that we will be running a Synthesis Flashback Event in the lead-up to our 3.7.0 expansion! This event will include eleven past league mods and the Synthesis League content so that you can continue to complete your challenges in a fresh and competitive economy. There are mystery boxes, Demigod's Immortalities and awesome microtransactions up for grabs!

We're happy to announce that we will be running a competitive Flashback Event from 9am Saturday May 11th (NZT) until 10am Tuesday June 4th (NZT). It will run in parallel with the Synthesis Challenge League which will also be enabled on the event so that you can continue your challenge progression. The event will include rotating mods from 11 popular past Path of Exile leagues. There are microtransactions, Mystery Boxes, Demigod's Immortalities and bragging rights up for grabs!

The Flashback Event will have three random mods from popular past leagues activated at once.
