"Not at all" Does that include not killing the monsters that unlock it? That would be hard to guarantee. Or is it enough not to activate?

That's the site struggling, separate to the Trade stuff. Still exceptionally frustrating. We are investigating this as we speak.
It's normal for a deferred item to not show up right away.
If you skip all the Rituals in an area, you won't lose a deferred item.
My understanding is that these are separate issues but we're looking into the slowness right now.
If you don't interact with Ritual at all in that zone, you aren't at risk of losing an item you've deferred.
It should be possible for you to appear as online on the trade site now. It just takes slightly longer to appear than you may be used to.
