I got my partner a macro lens because he loves insects and wanted to get some good photos of them. It’s been one day and he’s already nailing it.

It’s gotten worse in the last 20 minutes. 2.20pm

I don’t know how to convey how weird the light in Auckland is today. I feel so bad for Australia. It must be absolutely crazy over there.

Went for a walk around the neighbourhood and kept an eye out for the duck fam. Didn’t spot them but wasn’t worried. Eventually arrived home and found them waiting for us there. What is this, a sitcom for ducks?

Real talk for a sec - the Rice Tweets Saga was really cathartic for me when my PPD was at its worst. If you laughed along with me, you helped me. Thank you. I’m doing a lot better now. I still have the odd bad day but they’re becoming rarer as time passes.

I just saw that @pathofexile ranked relatively highly in Steam’s most played games this year and my first thought was wow I’m so proud and my second thought was damn I should really stop sh*tposting.

I just had a realisation... Am I... am I a community manager... for ducks???

Oof, rollercoaster of emotions. Mama duck showed up without any ducklings, had food and flew off. I feared the worst and went for a walk to the nearby beach to see if I could see what had happened. Walked high and low for 20 minutes - found them all safe and back with their mum.

Eden has just turned 4 months old and she’s learning all these new coos and trills as she experiments with her voice. She sounds like an adorable dial up modem.

We're currently working on a patch with a fair amount of improvements. With a lot of devs are still away, it would be too risky to deploy it before the weekend. We're keen to release a patch ASAP, likely next week with some changes coming early if they can be deployed early.
