I only just saw this now. I just finished editing Ep 2 of this year's Xmas special so it's realy awesome to hear people like them. It's os much fun making them, we're gonna try and continue this years champain into 2020, and have it as a semi regular podcast.

When are we getting fix for citadels not unlocking because you died the first character you started mapping :C Still missing 3 citadels with all the maps opened in that region and cant progress them

Alright, here you go!. Gyazo's framerate/resolution is kind of limited, but it should still be quite visible. It first takes the columns of the sunspire out, and then seems to make a wave of disappearances through the rest of the hideout.
Some extra assorted information:
1] It happens even in places away from the map device. Most of my masters are away from the map device. Niko and Jun are at the very bottom of the hideout and it even happens near them if I trigger their atlas missions.
2] The intensity of the effect seems to scale inversely with respect to the number of already existing portals when a new map is loaded. When there's 6 fresh portals and I generate a new map, it doesn't happen at all. If there's 3 portals it happens at a milder intensity.
This just looks like your client shaders compiling, because you have quite a large number of light sources together. If you wait a few seconds after this without changing areas, your client should compile the necessary shaders to properly render everything and it will stop happening.
Otherwise you might just have too many lights total in your hideout and things are breaking because the portals are hitting the light limit. But if 6 portals exactly works OK then it sounds like it's just shader compilation.
What about the issue with Black Portal Effect bugging out and reloading hideout decorations when loading a new map? If you're not sure what this is I can try to get a recording

What about the issues with the Witch and the Grand Sanctum chest piece? I love the set but it looks stupid if I use it on my witch.
Where it sticks out strangely while in Hideouts? Yeah, it's being fixed.
What about the migration issue from SSF to trade league? There are many people waiting for this. Do you have a rough estimate when will it be fixed?

We have to make sure everything is well-tested and works correctly first. Hopefully we can deploy the patch today or tomorrow, but it depends on any issues that may arise from QA and need fixing.
The Crucible Hood will be fixed.
The Crucible portal effect performance will also be fixed (where it slowly gets worse the longer you sit in your Hideout with the portals open).
Would be great if I found this out over twitter or even the forums and not some random reddit thread that's dead.
I just posted a thread on the forums. We were hoping this was resolved yesterday, but it started again early NZ AM.
