We're looking into this.
Hoping somedaywe see the output of that Google AI/ML partnership they announced.
I suspect an ML-evolved AI would be terrifying.
I was told that it was never going to "go anywhere". It was just a curiosity for researchers.
Aren’t daggers just rebellious villagers?
Yes
THE CRACKERS GROMIT!
WE FORGOT THE CRACKERS!
[Concerned Gromit noises]
Will these come in phone background sizes?
Originally posted by AgentSte: When playing with Diplomacy, I have found that you can use Cloak to Infiltrate a city which you are currently sieging but have not yet claimed. This means that, by sitting on the city and sieging it indefinitely, one can spend every turn creating Cloaks on a nearby city, moving them over to the city under siege and turning them into 3 daggers. This is a bug, and we plan to fix it. :)
Since daggers are independent (do not contribute to a city's population cap), this means that you can create an unlimited number of daggers to fill the map and swarm the enemy.
I really like the Cloak and Dagger units, but this seems to exploit a loophole in the mechanic in a way which is not faithful to the intended design. I'd suggest not being able to Infiltrate when sieging a city and/or not being able to Infiltrate the same city more than once
If it's based on the sun, why is it called tribe moon?
Well, "Tribe Moon" is the event, but we probably should have called it a "Tribe Sun." :P
This is a bug, and we plan to fix it.
What do you mean with daggers
Check the pinned post.
Me and my buddies have been playing "team" games for what feels like years now. We just pick teams beforehand and try to remember not to kill each other. We were really hoping with this update that we could set up teams from the start of a game! You think you'll add a multiplayer option for that?
Awesome update, thanks for all the hard work!
"Team Games" have been on our todo list for a long time now, and this is a step towards that
But Drylands is actually one of the most balanced map types...
Doesn't mean it's not still a joke, though.
We want ideal Polytopia to involve an interplay of both land and water, we just need to improve water first.
Building a Port is expensive, though, and having to start that way would doom you for the rest of the game. I think that even in water world, there should always be at least a few land tiles in the capital. But I suppose the official response is that water world is "just a joke." :(
To be fair, it is, kinda like Drylands.
Huh, you can't even move your Warrior out to train a Amphibian. u/Zoythrus thoughts? I'm not sure this is a fair spawn.
Build a port?
Also, this shouldn't happen except on a WaterWorld, iirc

Thank you for the art, u/random-person-45!
Those are pretty different cultures
And they were inspired by both.
When playing multiplayer with added friends in the iOS beta, the new update does not show up. Is this a bug or just a feature of the beta?
A bug. We're trying to fix it.
