They increased the size of the car for a reason I don't remember, but I now it's comedically large

You think so? In my experience, it has the opposite problem: The pickup is way stickier than anything else. Controlled slides are super useful, but this thing just says "no; how about you drive directly into this rock instead?" On top of that (or perhaps the cause of that) is that it's SLOW and the turning radius is ridiculously, uselessly massive, which just compounds the problem of not being able to manoeuvre the darn thing. I think it's silly that a jacked-up 4x4 is less useful on a map as bumpy and hilly as Miramar than a muscle car with practically no ground clearance, but the fact is, the pickup is what I use to drive around until I find a Mirado, which floats over the terrain like a landspeeder from Star Wars.

I think you're confusing stickiness with lack of friction. You said it yourself "Controlled slides are super useful, but this thing just says "no; how about you drive directly into this rock instead?"" - that's loss of control, stickiness would imply the vehicle responds to your controls because it sticks to the ground - just like Zima does on Vikendi!

Zima is hands down the best SUV in the game. The deston police car of SUVs. Rondo one feels miserable and most heavy / has worst acceleration. UAZ is pretty balanced. Pickup is a heavy slippery bastard.

There is no reason (at least to me) why Pickup shouldn't stick to dirt/sand off road on Miramar like Zima does on Snow on Vikendi.

Zima feels incredibly nice to drive. Pickup slides around like on ice.

If you disagree, I'm curious to learn your reason(s)!

Yeah, I just tried uninstalling BattleEye and deleting the entire BattleEye folder, then get Steam to reaquire the files and then launched PUBG. Just crashed again with the same error

Here's another option I suggest to people with issues. However, it is the nuclear option and comes with 2 big caveats.

  1. You will lose all your settings so back them up and screenshot them for safe keepings
  2. I highly doubt this will help this specific issue, but it is a nuclear option to attempt

If you are happy to continue, it's basically a reinstall of PUBG - but properly. Not just via Steam! :)

  • Uninstall PUBG via Steam
  • Delete your PUBG folder from your Steam Library directory ( Example: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\
  • Delete these following directories:
    • C:\Users\YOURUSERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\TslGame
    • C:\Users\YOURUSERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\WELLBIA
    • C:\Program Files\Common Files\UNCHEATER
    • C:\Program Files\Common Files\Wellbia.com
    • (If you do not have these directories, th...

I've had no issues with this with 24H2. Though I have been running the beta build for a long time now. However, I have not seen any increase in reports about this either. Sometimes, BattlEye just... does it's thing lol.

My best advise for BattlEye issues, is to reinstall BattlEye itself.

  • Navigate to your games directory
  • TslGame -> Binaries -> Win64 -> BattlEye
  • Run Uninstall_BattlEye.bat
  • Restart PC
  • Start PUBG again
  • It should install BattlEye itself
  • Hope it doesn't do something stupid.

Hopefully this helps!

I play PUBG for the sheer adrenaline it gives me every 10 minutes. The cosmetic rewards are just like the sprinkles on a big wedding cake.

That's been the main reason why I've loved the game for the last 8 years as well! My point or message is that it doesn't matter if people on this side of the world think that these consumer unfriendly monetisation practises are morally fair or unfair to the playerbase - the boys in asia clearly love this kind of monetisation. We're completely irrelevant so it's time to just enjoy the ride and not worry about these things anymore.

Krafton's earnings call: PUBG's record high 2024 PC revenue of $649 Millions up 60% from 2023.

Region revenue split: 🔹 Asia 92.5% 🔹 EU + NA + SA 7.5%

Glad I saw that. It shows what kind of people majority of pubg players are.

We don't matter Time to sit back and enjoy the ride MIIIIIIIIIILK IT Lamborghinis go brrrrrrrrrrrrrr 💰💰💰 (Idk just sharing things that are popping into my mind after seeing that)

The H is silent and it prolongs the A so Saa-nok. Many say the first bit fast and that's wrong.

Pubg clearly doesn't care if they actually text a new feature, but they certainly want to say to the public they tested it.

Bingo. Looks like it.

No, because the loadout I use for TDM in nothing like what I use for BR. TDM balancing wouldn't be representative of the case game

"the loadout"
That sounds like a you issue. The point of a TDM LABS arcade mode would be easy access to ALL weapons and infinite lives and respawns for easy gunplay balance testing.

Am I the only one who finds this illogical?

Arcade TDM is already there & is the perfect mode that you can dupe/modify for any weapon related tests

It is extremely inefficient to test specific gun balance in an unpopulated BR map queue

How am I meant to test how a weapon feels if I am thrown on a BR map with 1 life and less than 1s TTK in fights

I need to get shot in order to feel the changes, so logically the best way to do this is to make me wait 5 minutes between each match (queue, start match, land, loot, die -> requeue) and make me eat bullets on purpose? Really?
