Hey guys, please send us any clips of this issue if you can! Make sure the server info is visible under the minimap as well. Thanks

Make sure you don't have any game files disabled / deleted or modified. Following all the steps of the "COMPLETE A CLEAN INSTALLATION" in the guide below should get rid of all the game files and download fresh ones. https://support.pubg.com/hc/en-us/articles/900002196723-GENERAL-CRASHING-AND-PERFORMANCE-GUIDE

Hey, this sounds like a bug. If you could send us a few clips of this occurring with the match id / server info visible under the minimap, that would be great! Thanks!

Hey all, appreciate the ongoing feedback on this. The devs are working on introducing balance changes to the spotter scope. We'll have more info on that to share soon.

Hey all, please send us video clips of the issue with the server / match id details visible (found below the minimap).

Hey op, have a look at the guide below and do some basic PC troubleshooting, making sure your system and drivers are up to date.

Also try running the game without any other apps besides it like overlays, hardware monitoring apps, discord, obs that kind of stuff that people usually have open. Also check if you can notice a usage spike in task manager when the issue occurs and see what it is.

Ultimately, I'd love to gather a few video clips of this issue so I can report it to the team to look into. Thanks! https://support.pubg.com/hc/en-us/articles/900002196723-GENERAL-CRAS...

Items can drop in between containers like that yeah. Dropping any item would cause it to fall between the containters, not only the tac pac, provided you are in the perfect spot for it.

My guess would be because it is the largest compound/town in the mid-west area on the map.

Every other place around it is smaller, but also quite accessible as it's in the center of 6+ smaller compounds that are relatively close to it.

The user-based anti-cheat system is a failure in it's current state. Auto-banning accounts with thousands of hours and years playing the game based on "report" volume from new/inexperienced players is moronic.

Thanks pewpew, we are sharing all the feedback with the AC team. They are looking into ways to improve the system.

Spotter scope adds value in three ways - live pings, spotting players automatically, and automatically reading distance.

  1. Dynamic/live pings on moving enemies is far too powerful, and prone to error. Too powerful because it robs you of the ability to rotate, use cover, and outplay opponents without telegraphing your movements, and because objects or terrain that you could normally use as cover will lose too much utility. Prone to error because it's able to track and see players in a way which humans wouldn't be able to - continuously tracking a player due to a single pixel being visible through cover or terrain does not mimick human vision.

  2. A tool which spots players for you does not add fun to the game. The skill requirement of target acquisition is removed, and you're now much more at risk of being spotted on any kind of rotation, no matter the visual cover or sensible distance.

  3. The distance read is fine, if gimmicky.
