[2022] Question regarding Game Pass / Cross Progression

Hello, I have some specific questions regarding the Xbox Game Pass release. I hope this is the best place where someone might know a thing or two about it.

So my situation is this: I just got an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate trial for two months and plan to download and play Rainbow Six Extraction with it over on PC. If the game turns out as fun as it looks to be, I would like to buy it on Ubisoft Connect for PC and cancel the Game Pass subscription. On Ubisoft connect i also own Rainbow Six Siege.

My questions: So far i have not found a way to link my game pass account to my ubisoft account but as i understand, the download and launch for the game pass edition will happen trough the ubisoft connect launcher. 1) Will I be able to preserve my progress on the paid version when switching from game pass? 2) Do I need to reinstall/redownload the game after the switch? 3) Will i be able to receive the exclusive rewards for owning R6:Siege on my Extraction game?

Yes your progress is tied to your Ubisoft Account so if you purchase the game on another platform, as long as you are using the same Ubisoft Account, your progress will be kept.
This one I am not 100% sure on but if you are accessing the game through PC Game Pass, you will be downloading/launching it though Ubisoft Connect regardless. I imagine as long as you don’t uninstall the files, you’ll be able to pick it back up once you get your access back through purchasing the full game.
As long as you launch both Extraction and Siege on the same Ubisoft Account you will get the United Front Bundle
