Hey there, I would like report 3 bugs:

  1. You can't rebind the "studies" key (F10). Please let players rebind the studies key, it's way to far from the left hand so it's hard to keep track of what you need to do, if you can't press it easily.
  2. By default, if you want to enter in your "drone camera mode", you need to press 5 once. Your Operator will throw the drone and it'll enter in the "Drone camera mode" automatically. There's an option to change this "manual", so you need to press 5 to throw it, and 5 again to enter in "Drone camera mode". Here's the bug: If you enter in the settings and rebind the "Drone camera mode button" (5 by default) to any other key, you won't be able to enter in "the drone view camera" after dropping it, no matter the button you assigned, you will still need to press "5" to enter in the "drone camera mode". This bug happens since the TTS and I've previously reported it.
  3. If you press TAB to see the objectives / map, your can't move at the same time. I consider this is a bug because if you stay in the same place you can get hit & downed pretty quickly, so I don't think this is working as intended, even if it is, please let us move if we open the map / objectives TAB.

@shaggytoph Thank you for the collected information and posting your feedback here. I want to assure you this will be forwarded to the dev team to review. In the meantime, please try to bind the second "drone camera mode" action to a new key bind as suggested by @Bery14. Let me know if you see any changes.

@shaggytoph would you please record a video clip showing the sequence of actions leading up to this game glitch in an air lock?

@MrChrillwis Would you post a screenshot of your in-game controls after trying to remap R2 to R1?

@shaggytoph Thank you for the clarification. Would you be able to record a video showing the sequence of events leading to the issue, as requested by @Ubi_Plush?

@shaggytoph I understand. If you could just explain to the best of your ability what happens with certain keys being pressed while recording the video, that would be great.

Thanks very much for getting this video across to us, @shaggytoph - I really appreciate you being so accommodating with our request. I've forwarded this to our teams to investigate further internally.

Hey @Bery14 , thanks for letting us know you've discussed this with the support teams already. As you know, it's something we're currently investigating. If you haven't already done so, it'd really help us out if you could answer the questions in the thread where we're tracking this issue - my post marked as the answer has the questions, and if you could post your response in that thread, that'd be ideal 🙂

Howdy @Bryce_The-Rice , thanks for reaching out, and welcome to Discussions!

I've had a quick look, and I can see our teams had advised the issue was fixed around April. I'd like to make sure we investigate this again, to see what's going on. To help with that, can you answer the questions below for me?

  • Which platform are you on, and which specific gamepad do you use?
  • Can you send me some screenshots showing your keybinds when it isn't working, and what the interface looks like when trying to then use the keybinds? A video will work as well. Here's our screenshots guide per platform, and the resulting images can be added to a response here in the forum thread using the little image icon above the post edit box.
  • Does this happen with all drone-type gear?

Thanks for your report! Let me know if I can clarify any of my questions 🙂
