If Maelstrom is supposed to be the end game content for, according to Ubisoft, "players with fully upgraded operators," then why does match-making allow people to join with weekly operators of any range level?

Maelstrom is hard enough with pugs, why force pug players into playing with others clearly not ready for the endgame? A character level is the only metric we have to filter people not ready.

Pug Players reading this - Until this is rectified, I refuse to play the Maelstrom if I'm forced with low-level players. You should do the same. Here's how:

I will tell my team I'm not playing before the match and why, then I'll ask to extract. If they don't extract, I will not leave the match because I don't want the five-minute penalty. Instead, I will purposefully fail objectives until an extraction happens. I promise to let anyone below level 10 stay MIA.

Edit**- I am quoting Ubisoft. If you can't deal with the fact that Ubi designed Maelstrom for endgame, not to carry other players, that's on you. Stop personally attacking me you bullies.*\*

Edit 2 -- The amount of hate speech and continued attacks on me personally for me pointing out a poor game design that directly contradicts what Ubisoft has claimed is the purpose of the mode is indicative of the "toxic positivity" that another user commented on yesterday. Y'all need to get a life.

We're aware of the requests for a minimum Operator level requirement in Maelstrom Protocol and are passing them onto the team.
