For about the last week, I have been so proud of this sub and this game's community at large. While most communities do nothing but complain, criticize, and bad mouth the game and, in the case of multiplayer games, the other players; for the most part this community has offered tips, shared great moments, and praised this amazing and unique game and heroic moments completed by fellow operators.
Like the sprawl, I have seen negativity, particularly towards other players spread throughout my feed and this sub. Please keep your heads and prevail over the scourge of this negativity.
The "Rambo" and "selfish" players you are most likely encountering are just new and inexperienced. There are some bad eggs, sure; but some of them just don't know any better. Please don't let your frustration turn into an example of selfishly hoarding pickups, bad mouthing each other, and leaving others behind. BE THE OPERATOR YOU WANT THEM TO BE. The truely elite lead by example. For every "Rambo" or "newb" you leave behind, you encourage a potentially great operator to do the same.
And to the new players: I hope to see you out there. I promise to do everything I can to teach you what I've learned and to learn from you what I can. I will never leave a man behind, or I will die trying. Support your fellow operatives and be supported in return.
Stay frosty.
