[2022] The origins of the parasite are terrifying

Seriously, this is the last game where I thought I’d be thinking about how big the universe is, and how this parasite deals with it.

Spoilers for the origins of the chimera btw.

So, Ash’s final report in T or C reveals that the parasite came into existence some time after the Big Bang, AKA the creation of our universe as a whole. Soon after, the parasite began to spread, heading to diffrent parts of the universe and eventually one day, hitting us.

The fact this threat has existed since the dawn of the universe opens up so many questions and nightmares. How many other planets has the parasite conquered? How much does the parasite control? How long has it been on Earth?

Has Earth already fought the parasite?

Adding onto that is the existence of alternate universes due to singularities and programs, or at least thought to exist. Is the existence of the parasite something that will always occur regardless of the universe? Does the parasite hold and conquer universes? How many times have our incursions played out exactly the same? How many universes can exist where REACT failed? Where T or C isn’t contained?

What does the parasite have as well to fight REACT?

This sh*t is just terrifying. Who knew Ubisoft could pull off a plot like this man… either I’m overthinking this or this game is just wild.
