Game just immediately crashes on startup. The yellow window appears and that's it. This happened to me with the technical playtest months ago already. I am on PC and tried many things.
Clean start of windows (deactivating everything besides windows), reset overclocking, updated my drivers, verifying the files, reinstalling, reinstalling the game without HD textures.
My PC can run R6S smoothly with my Ryzen 5 3600 (6 Cores 12 Threads, 4,2MHz Boost) and my RTX 2070. I have 16 GB RAM 3200MHz and the game is installed on a M.2 NVME SSD from Samsung.
The game has been out for over 20 days now and the issue occured months ago with the technical playtest already. I do not want to do more complicated "workarounds" for my game to be working, I just want to click "play" and play the game, which is exactly what I have paid for. How is it possible that this issue has not been fixed yet? Or am I overlooking something here??

I have checked for crashes submitted by you, but there are none. Do you see the crash handler at all? If you do not, try turning off anything that might be trying to inject itself into Warframe like screen recorders, graphical enhancements, overlays, Razer Chroma, and see if that lets the game start normally.  If you can isolate what is causing the game to crash, you could try updating or adjusting settings on the problem program.

Hi @djatomika I'm sorry to hear that the game is crashing on launch and that none of the troubleshooting you have tried has helped.

Could you please confirm your PC specifications and also try performing a clean boot in Windows then try launching the game again.

I hope you enjoy the game.

Hey there.

I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with crashes/freezes at the moment.

The first thing I would suggest is to attempt each step suggested here that you haven't already attempted, I can see you have already attempted some troubleshooting already so we're not asking you to repeat previous steps. These steps are known to resolve most of the common causes of crashing/freezing.

I would also recommend reinstalling both dedicated and integrated graphics drivers if you haven't already done so.

If after doing so these issues have persisted please let us know and we'll investigate this further with you.

Thanks.

Hey there @ivan-s86 , welcome to the forum! Thanks for sharing your insight - indeed, updating graphics drivers is one of the basic steps on our troubleshooting guide.

I hope you've been enjoying the sprawl 😎

Hey @veloxis467, I am incredibly sorry for the overall trouble you have been going through accessing Rainbow Six Extraction. When running into startup issues, I recommend double-checking your graphics card drivers to ensure they are up-to-date. I would also check for any background applications that might be hindering you from loading the game. However, if you have also exhausted these steps and still receive the same results, please don't hesitate to contact us here with your MSINFO & DxDIAG attached to take a more in-depth look into what might be causing this behavior.
