[2022] Cursor breaks after I alt tab

Whenever I alt tab or go into the ubisoft connect overlay, the cursor stops working. It won't let me click on anything or alt + enter. Alt tabbing doesn't fix it, and the cursor snaps to the center of the screen whenever I try and move it. Restarting the game fixes it until I tab out or go into ubisoft connect again.
