Pretty much the title. I started playing this game solo, enjoyed it solo, and like they say in one of the opening cinematics, solo operators can do things that squads just can't.
So it feels weird that I now have to squad up, or just not play maelstrom. It feels like that contradicts the game's own ethos of supporting both teams, and lone wolves.
