You can play the entirety of the main game solo.
There won’t be any AI team mates at any stage
You can play Solo, Duo or Trios with pre-made squads or with random match-making to fill in the squad.
You have the option to turn squad fill off
Difficulty scales to the number of players in the squad.
Does the matchmaking fill up the empty spot with AI if you’re playing with only one friend?
No. You can play with just 2 players or it will give you a random third.
I’m not a console player and definitely don’t play with mnk on console but this section from an Accessibility blog on the game suggests there’s at least some form of mnk support on consoles. At least there’s definitely a lot more options than Siege due to it not being a competitive game:
“Gamepad and Mouse and Keyboard gameplay inputs can be remapped (console and PC). All gameplay inputs can be swapped from one face button to another. (Motor, Cognitive)”

Apart from the United Front bundle you get from launching Extraction and Siege on the same Ubisoft Connect account and unlocking the 18 Extraction Operators if you don’t have them already unlocked in Siege, there’s no shared rewards/cosmetics between the 2 games.
We just found out about it today. I think Xbox is in talks with Ubisoft to bring over Ubisoft+ and integrate it with Game Pass at some point.
I wonder if they'll increase the overall price of game pass or offer a standalone addon for Ubisoft+ or EA Play Pro for like $5 a month.
Ubisoft+ isn’t being added to Gamepass. You will however be able to get Ubisoft+ on Xbox, where is was only previously available on PC
For the weapons you will have to unlock weapons for each Operator as you level them up. Operators have other weapons than their usual load out in Siege, this is tied to their CTU.
You’ll have to wait just a little bit longer to know what Operators are available straight off the bat.

The Orbital Decay Bundle is a reward for pre-ordering Rainbow Six Extraction that will only be granted in Rainbow Six Extraction itself once the game releases.
This Bundle is not available in Rainbow Six Siege.
There is another bundle called the United Front Bundle which involves rewards for both Rainbow Six Extraction and Rainbow Six Siege and requires you to launch both Extraction and Siege on the SAME Ubisoft Connect account to receive the rewar...
