[2022] Some settings in my game resetting to default

Thank you for getting in touch and reporting this!

Could you please try deleting your GameSettings file and let us know if this helps?

You can locate this by going to; Documents\ My Games\ Rainbow Six - Siege\ \ GameSettings.ini < Delete this file.

Rebooting the game will cause it to re-create the file automatically.

When in-game, try amending some settings before restarting the game to see if it's then retaining it's settings.

I can see you don't appear to have a dedicated GPU?

May we please know the rest of the specs for your PC (GPU (if there is a dedicated one, CPU, RAM, OS, Laptop / Desktop)?

If you haven't already, would it be possible to launch the game with administrative rights before making changes? This should allow your changes to save.

The outfits and skins resetting is a known issue to us and can occur when the games profile file can become corrupted, or if there is a discrepancy between any cloud saving and physical save files. We can only ask players to delete the game file and follow the guide when this happens, as it is something that can happen from time to time and we have been unable to fix this permanently.

As for the game settings automatically switching to high, this doesn't appear to be a widely reported issue. I think in order to look into this more thoroughly we would need your system files, dxdiag and msinfo.
