Recently I would go on steam and click play on rainbow six siege. It would pull up a window of u play which says something like "Launching your game". The rainbow six loading window in the middle of the screen would appear and a couple seconds later, a BattlEye box would show up. In the box it would say this,

22:08:31: Installing BattlEye Service...
22:08:38: Successfully installed BattlEye Service.
22:08:41: Launching game...
22:09:12: Note: File blocks can be ignored if they don't cause problems with the game.
22:09:12: [INFO] Blocked loading of file: "C:\Windows\System32\dxdiagn.dll".

Then all windows of RS would close and the game would not start. I have tried verifying the integrity of game files as well as reinstalling the game completely but it won't work.

Hey there,

Please make sure you are running Uplay, Rainbow Six Siege and the Battleye client with administrator rights.

If this does not resolve your issue, please try reinstalling the game.

If you continue to experience issues after this, can you please create a case on the support website

Hello Andreii6m, did you try the solution given above which is to run the game in administrator rights?

Locate both the games Rainbow Six Siege .exe file and the the BattleEye.exe file in your Rainbow Six Siege installation folder.

- Right click on.exe file for both and select 'Properties'
- Select the 'Compatibility' tab
- Check the 'Run as Administrator box'
- Click 'Apply' then 'OK'
- Do this for both the launchers and games .exe file
- Now try launching the game from its .exe file

Let me know what happens next and if this resolves the issue for you?

Sorry to heat that. Can I ask you to give each of these remaining steps a try please. If this still doesn't work out we'd like you to submit your system files to us if possible so we can dig a little deeper into exactly what is causing this.

o Use newest version of BattlEye -> Reinstalling the game will reinstall the latest version of BattlEye
o Whitelist BEService.exe, BEService_r6s.exe and BEService64.exe in firewall -> Files are located inside the BattlEye folder in the R6 installation folder and in this folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\BattlEye
o Make sure BEService64.exe has admin rights
o Clean boot up and deactivate background application.
o Reinstall the entire game.
o Search for windows updates and make sure your system is up to date.

If it doesn't work out you can reach us either through the support website by opening a live chat session or alternatively through our social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter and they will be able to create a support case for you.

After you've opened the case if I can also ask you to attach two system reports to the case that will assist us in identifying any potential cause. The reports we need from you are:

MSInfo
DxDiag
