Hello,

There are individuals that are using Ubisoft Support as a means to recover/take accounts that are originally not their own.
It has happened often in the past with content creators and streamers, where these individuals gain unauthorized access to their accounts by fabricating information, receipts and sending it to Ubisoft Support.

Once they receive access to the account, the individual commonly cheats on said account or sells the account to others.
I'm fairly certain Ubisoft is aware of this issue however it's relevance has gained traction significantly recently.

All I ask is that Ubisoft tightens their support services regarding access to accounts, especially in instances where the individual has no access to the account.
I would presume older, inactive accounts are mainly targeted due to inactivity, however this also does occur with active accounts.

The integrity and security of our accounts is crucial, and it's genuinely unfortunate that even while going through extra steps to ensure your account is secured, perpetrators can gain access via uncontrollable means where it should not be possible.

I have recently come across a group that exploits Ubisoft's API to retrieve information about users that otherwise shouldn't be available, which aids them in stealing accounts.
They can retrieve: All general account information, linked accounts, games, purchase dates, skins/other content

Hi there.

So we can gather further information from you on this would you be able to submit this info and any other info you can provide on this group privately on a support case please? We'd like to pass this on to our security team for further investigation. In the interest of account security as this is a public forum I have deleted your post above containing the image link as it contains info pertaining to another Ubisoft account.

You can reach us either through the support website by opening a live chat session or alternatively through our social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter and they will be able to create a support case for you. Thanks.
