Hey RealFents1997,

Welcome to the Forums, I'm sorry to hear you're having issues running the game

Thank you for letting us know what steps you've attempted so far

Do you often run any additional programs in the background while playing as it may also be worth attempting a Clean Boot of your PC

May we also know the specs of your PC and any errors you receive when crashing?

Thank you!

- 32 GB G SKill Ram Trident
- EVGA 2080 TI vid card
- Samsung SSD drives (for gaming)

Let me know if you require additional information. It's getting really annoying.

Sorry to hear that the game is continuing to crash for both of you after the troubleshooting that you have done so far.

Can I ask are either of you overclocking your systems?

Where is Ubisoft Connect installed also?

Ubisoft is installed separately from my OS NVMe. I have a separate gaming drive that is a Samsung 850 EVO SSD.

To be specific - this is my setup. Siege was purchased via Steam. I've tried both Vulcan and regular mode - both crash. All services not required have been "end tasked".

Video card : EVGA 2080 TI FTW3 Ultra
Motherboard: Asus ROG Maximus 11 Hero (Wifi)
RAM: G.Skill Trident 4x8 GB DDR4 3200
Power Supply: Thermaltake 1200W Platiunum RGB
Coolmaster MasterLiquid ML 360R RGB
Case: Thermaltake V71 Tempered Glass
OS Drive: Samsung 970 PRO NVMe M.2 SSD 512 GB
Gaming 1: Samsung 850 EVO 500GB
Gaming 2: Samsung 850 EVO 2TB <- this is where Ubisoft & Siege is installed.
Thank you for coming back to us so quick with this reply. Can we ask that you re-install Ubisoft Connect on your OS drive and see if that helps?

You can get it from HERE.

Thank you.

Hi everyone, thanks for updating us about your crashes you have experienced since the latest update.

As previously advised, updating GPU drivers and the Windows OS, as well as disabling any backgrounds programs on start up and not overclocking are some of the most common fixes for this issue.

As a next step, I would also suggest trying the following options to fix this issue -

- Run the game as administrator via the game's .exe file using the files properties option -
Uplay - C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege
Steam - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege

- Update Ubisoft Connect game launcher
- Install game to another Hard Drive or SSD drive if available
- Verify the game files to fix any corrupt or missing files
- Make sure the game is whitelisted as not a threat in your anti-virus software
- Delete any temporary files by doing a search for the %TEMP% folder
- Do a System File Check (SFC) for any corrupted system files and a CHKDSK for any corrupted hard drives

Let me know how you get on and if you need any help with the steps above and I will happily explain further. This support article should explain how to perform some of these solutions -

Still crashes. I am not sure if you can retrieve all the logs I sent to Ubisoft to determine how/when it crashes. It appears to be random.

Hey there.

I'm sorry to hear that and I completely understand your frustration with this issue. At this stage we'd like to take a look over your system files to see if they highlight any issues.

You can reach us either through the support website by opening a live chat session or alternatively through our social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter and they will be able to create a support case for you.

After you've opened the case if I can also ask you to attach two system reports to the case that will assist us in identifying any potential cause. The reports we need from you are:

MSInfo
DxDiag

Thanks.

I made a ticket and after trying way too many things I reinstalled my complete windows updates (I did not update I reinstalled them).
Support sent me a link from the windows site.
After I did it for the next few days I didn't have any crashes, altough the day before yesterday I crashed once in the whole day...
Yesterday I crashed 2 time and today I am crashing constantly again.... Can't play the game...

I think it is Windows relate but I am not completely 100% sure... My windows did update again before these last crashes, so yeah..
If this is helpfull in anyway for the support, please HELP!! xD

My ticket number: #14199690 for support if it helps.

Thank you!
Hi there.

Can I ask you to run your system reports again please and attach them to the case number you've mentioned? I have re-opened the case for you now.
