So for some reason whenever I press my shift+F2 my game goes from 144+ fps to only 20, if that. I play on Vulkan, but I tried it on the regular version and it still happen, just not as noticably (from 144+ to 70-80 ish). It also happens whenever a friend gets online and their name pops up in the corner, but goes away whenever the notification goes away, unlike whenever I use my ui. Whenever I open my Shift+F2 to join a game/accept an inv/ use the store/ collect rewards/ add a friend etc it goes down to barley 20 fps and stays that way until I completely restart the game. No amount of messing with my graphics settings mid game or waiting multiple games will fix it. I’ve had this issue for the last few months and thought it would be resolved but ig not. I @‘d the R6 twitter a few times a month or so ago to no avail and can’t find anything anywhere to help. So if someone has any clue whatsoever please help. I’m tired of having my friends have to join off me and always have me host and having to restart my game every time I want to collect rewards and add a friend. I need someone wiser then I to inform me of there is already a known fix or a dev to please for the sake of my sanity fix this already. Sorry for the rant 😅😂.

@ioftly Hello there.

Thank you for posting, sorry to hear about these performance issues you've been having in R6S recently.

This is an issue that has been reported to the team, and is currently under investigation. In the meantime, we're able to provide a few workarounds that players have reported, to help with the issue:

  • Close the 'Ubisoft Web Core' via the task manager. After you are back in the game, a new login screen will appear. Please enter your e-mail address and password to log in again.
  • Open the game overlay and navigate to the internet browser. Click on 'accept the privacy' agreement from Google.

Let us know if these steps help, and if you have any further questions for us.

@ioftly

Hey there

Sorry to hear that didn't work on this occasion but thanks for giving that a try.

Can you try again after a clean boot and see if that helps at all? Please also ensure that Ubisoft Connect is running with admin privileges.

If after doing so you're still experiencing issues please let us know so we can offer further assistance.

Hiya @ioftly,

No worries for the late response, we're here for you n_n

I'm sorry to hear that the steps didn't help.

Could you please check that no other overlay is impending on the Ubisoft Connect one ?

I know that usually the Xbox bar is enabled on Windows 10/11, and if you have Nvidia and Discord, there are overlays as well.

Let us know if you still have issues.
