[2022] All Operator Skins reset

Did you notice this to initially start happening on a certain date?

We don't have any workarounds, however do have an investigation ongoing at the moment looking into this.

In addition to your answers, could you please upload some screenshot showing that your skins are not applied after a game restart?

Can you try once again to upload these screenshots to a post for me? Note that they can be a maximum of 2,000 pixels in length, 2,000 pixels in height, or 2MB in filesize.
Alternatively, they can be uploaded to any other website of your choice, and a link sent to us here on the forum thread.

Our online services are responsible for checking what items are owned in your inventory on Siege. What skins are equipped is bound to your local save file however. If your skins regularly get reset, seemingly at random, chances are that your local save file is corrupted.

In order to solve the issue, I'd suggest this guide. It shows you how to reset your local save. This will likely reset your progress on the Situations in the game, but it won't otherwise affect your progression or inventory.

Hello @concep, the operator skins that can reset are a known issue to us and are usually caused by a corrupted profile file.
 
We do not have a permanent fix for this issue, because it is caused by a corrupted save on your computer, but we recommend following the steps in our guide here >

To help stop this issue from reappearing in the future, I also recommend >

1. When the game is updating, make sure the update is not interrupted or its connection by closing down other apps that may be running

2. Disable any cloud saves you have enabled for the game, in your game launchers/console settings, in case of conflict with your local save

3. Make sure to make a copy of your local profile save file routinely if on PC or console >
