That is the message I receive. When I first logged in to Ubisoft Connect, I accidentally logged into the wrong account, and old one from a long time ago. Now that I am trying to log into my newer account (this account) that has all of my progress on it, it is giving me that warning message. I guess its because the game is registered to my old account. Is there anyway I can un-register it from my old account and register it to my newer account?

Hey zKarToonv,

Thanks for reaching out and I am sorry to hear about the issue you ran into.

It was a little difficult to understand the issue based on your description so I had a look at the ticket you have created and now understand the problem very well.

To find more information about the error message you receiving and what causes it, have a look at the following article.

What happened, is when you launched the game for the very first time through Steam, you were asked to link your Steam account to Ubisoft account. When you do so, this will then permanently link your game to the Uplay PC account you selected, however as you linked it to another account than you originally wanted, error message will come up whenever you're logged in to Uplay with account that the game is not linked to, so in order for us to resolve this, we would need to transfer your game to your main account. For us to do so, we will have to ask you to attach full and uncropped image to your ticket, showing a record of purchase for the game. To do this, make sure to follow steps outlined here.

Once your image is attached, let us know and we will have a look!

I also want to say that I originally played console with this account and yes, I do own siege on this account and I also want to say that I am on a different computer. I've tried using VPN's but that doesn't work either. Please try your best to help me.
Hello TitanN3RD,

This error is caused when the Uplay account you're trying to launch the game with is different to the Uplay account the game was originally activated on.

If you've used any previous email address on accounts in the past I would advise trying those.

If you're having trouble locating the old account, feel free to contact us through our Support Site or Facebook and Twitter so we can take a closer look.

Hey CubicRainfall,

Its okay if you don't know what account you used, or if you don't remember the ownership details, we should be able to locate your game and account you used from your usernames or ownership file on your computer.

Contact us through the following channels with you Ubisoft usernames, emails you may have used and any names of usernames on platforms you may have linked such as PSN, Gamer Tags, Epic or Steam usernames.

You can contact us about this here -
Twitter Support - https://twitter.com/UbisoftSupport
Facebook Support - https://www.facebook.com/UbisoftSupportUK/
Ubisoft Support website - https://support.ubisoft.com/en-gb/Cases/new

We will do our best to locate your account with the game activated on it, then we can change your login details for you to give you access back to that account after taking a few steps to verify you as the owner.

Hey there.

This is likely to be the case that the game has been linked to an alternate account, yes. We can certainly look into transferring the game between accounts but you'll need to open a support case with us to do so.

You can reach us either through the support website by opening a live chat session or alternatively through our social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter and they will be able to create a support case for you. Thanks!
