[2020] [Performance]Issue with FPS between ubi accounts for Rainbow Six Siege

Hi

I have been having issues with fps when playing Rainbow Six Siege.

For some reason I am able to get over 200 fps during an r6 game on one account on my PC but am not able to get more than 85 fps on the other.

I am using the same PC and monitor - I have also used the same in-game settings on each account with no change in performance.

Anybody have any ideas ??

Hey KntckyFrdClutch! My apologies for any inconvenience that may have been caused by this FPS difference. Rainbow Six Siege is optimized to run at 60 FPS, so I'm glad to hear that both accounts are meeting that at least.

While we cannot provide full support for running the game past what it is optimized to run at, perhaps you could try verifying the game's cache to see if that makes any differences!

As above, the game is optimized to run at 60fps.

May we know what FPS range you're looking to achieve as well as any troubleshooting you may have already tried?

As advised previously the game is optimized for 60fps so it is great to hear you comfortable achieve this. Have you tried verifying the games cache as UbiKoality suggested?

When you have a high level account you'll more than likely have more uplay friends, skins, charms, etc. All of those things have to load in. Thats why your main is getting poor fps. This seems rather strange but I can see the logic behind it. What sort of FPS were you getting on the new account and old account? Was this on the same PC? If so what are the specs of this PC?
