Can we get a statement on the backlash concerning the season 4 rewards? Are you planning on changing them because your entire community hates them?

As we've mentioned before, we would like to but we have done all we can, and at this point it is out of our hands

A solid suggestion! I'll bring it up :)

What kind of issues are you experiencing? Is it different from the issue from the last patch?

update on season rewards being changed?

Hiya! We are not changing the Season 4 Rewards, which are due to be released tomorrow. We've seen all the feedback, and we're using it to better inform our internal discussions around rewards moving forward.

Great updates to the reporting options; especially being able to check multiple reasons.

I hope there are also plans to apply more penalties to offending players! Are you really going to ban people for being "intentionally idle", or is the option just a honeypot?

We are currently banning people for being intentionally idle. Those who are banned will see a ban for "Unsportmanlike Conduct"

The season doesn't end until 7:30 AM PST / 3:30 PM UTC, so there's still time!

Season is not over yet! You have 14 hours left (as of this post).

Use "Match Throwing or Griefing" for anything related to matchmaking abuse.

Yes, yes. I know; maybe an unpopular opinion, but it’s a problem in some cases.

For anything like this / matchmaking abuse, use Match Throwing or Griefing

For now, report under the category of "Match Throwing or Griefing". Getting the report at all is what really matters on our end

I like the new reporting options. Hopefully there’s something in place to automate “throwing” and “intentionally idle” reports, or sometning to at least flat them for manual review. Because more than toxicity or anything negative in chat, these are the things that are truly detrimental to the population & cause many to play less. Not sure I’ll get an answer, but I am curious how Psyonix plans to address these new report issues. Looks good on the surface but I wonder how effective it’ll be.

Also - Are the post game menu bugs fixed? Don’t see it mentioned, but don’t see it on the issues list, and I remember /u/psyonix_ted saying it’d be fixed in the next patch. EDIT: this seems fixed, just misunderstood the wording.

Lastly - is voice chat back? I don’t see it mentioned either but it’s weird if you can report for verbal harassment while that isn’t even a thing yet lol

Voice chat is not back as of yet and this report option is mainly just prepping ahead of time for when it DOES come back :)

I think this means that the post game menu bugs are fixed.

We mentioned this previously but we have updated our processes a bit. I don't think "allocating more resources to enforcing" is the correct way to describe the changes, but closer to improving our workflows in general to enforce the reported violations better
