A couple of things to address here:
- ban duration rises as they accumulate more bans. Someone who received their first ban may be back to playing as quick as the next day
- We currently do large batches of bans! If you reported on Monday, they might not receive a ban until Tuesday. While we're working on more immediate solutions, our batch ban method has allowed us to catch far more offenders than we did previously!
- You don't always receive a notification for Unsportsmanlike Conduct bans due to your reports. However, should the player meet a couple of different requirements, they do get banned. The feedback reports are something we're aware that players highly value and is something we would like to explore implementing in increased frequency.
Congrats!I've said it a thousand times and I'll say it thousand more, high fives and low fives need custom animations like a demolition. I want to see everyone out there hunting down the goal scorer for that celebration!
High fives would be so much more rewarding if everyone on the field sees a firework explosion when you get one.

Will we be told if they are banned for other reasons? Had a tournament teammate this week that scored an OG in the finals and then decided to start playing for the other team throwing the match by playing goalie for them and then actively shooting on us. Would really like to know that action was taken to get these behaviors out of the game…happens much more than it should in competitive too.

have you ever actually checked the top 100 players for ranked? not a single person on there is an alt account or a Smurf. in fact, almost every single one of those players is on a steam account that is 5 or more years old.
And no reporting doesn’t do anything as of yet. Only bans that are handed out are chat bans.

We regularly perform waves of bans for various offenses other than chat offenses. Generally, when we do, some of those players come to the subreddit and post about it, but those posts are largely deleted.
