Thanks to everyone who voiced thoughts and concerns about the Extra Modes MVP Challenge in the comments here. We just pushed a change that reduces the number of MVPs needed to complete the Challenge from 20 to 5. (No game update is required to see the change, but you may need to restart RL if you don't see the change just yet.)

If you already have 5 or more MVPs in Extra Modes, you will need to get one more MVP in order for the Challenge to complete.

Hey! I wouldn't worry about it.

However, it sounds like they were attempting to scam you and potentially abusing our report system. If you can, I would suggest sending in a ticket with their username so we can look into this player.

A couple of possible reasons:

1. If you're logging in to a different platform licensed DLC isn't cross-platform
   
2. If you're getting a cloud sync error upon log-in there could be an issue syncing your items

Rocket League has been out for a few years now, consider that the skill ceiling has been rising that entire time as folks discover new techiques to use. Gold is also a pretty central rank, you're going to see a decent variety of skills in that rank

This is something I would email our support team about. It helps if you provide them with logs as well so these issues can get brought in front of the right folks who can investigate

Solutions for this are complex but we are continually having conversations around better solving for this issue.
