*Demonic skull will it force PvP on?

*Will going into the abyss still skull?

*Does a skull force PvP on or will it remain the all items lost on death?

*Are there any warning before an action to enable PvP on divination/warbands?

*Will it be possible to teleport from anywhere in the wild to leave or do we still need to be below 20/30?

Now this question I feel is very important and to prevent luring it should be force opt-out

*Will PvP be automatically opt-out for everyone?

*Demonic skull will it force PvP on? Yes, though not without warning

*Will going into the abyss still skull? Yes, we are in discussions on how to best address RC in the future

*Does a skull force PvP on or will it remain the all items lost on death? The skull is now the signifier that you're opted in to PvP, so it will be always on you when opted in to PvP, and applies the standard skull mechanics too (all items lost on death)

*Are there any warning before an action to enable PvP on divination/warbands? A confirmation popup box

*Will it be possible to teleport from anywhere in the wild to leave or do we still need to be below 20/30? Existing restrictions apply

*Will PvP be automatically opt-out for everyone? Yes

Sounds like a cool update. I just have a few concerns. How will the increased threat system work when you have pvp enabled? Although the community is small, there is a w2 edgeville pking scene, so I wonder how monster ambushes would affect them. Also, I was hoping that this new pvp system would enact further protection from lurers. I like how you're now warned when you will be given a skull when harvesting cursed energy or collecting from warbands. Can there also be a way to toggle your account so you can't interact with skullable content like this? I know it sounds silly but I bet lurers can convince players to interact with things like this. Also, how would picking up cursed energy behave? Will picking it up or being traded it also enable pvp, and will there be a warning? I know lurers also make use of trading cursed energy to lure players. Have any of the well-known luring methods and animation stalls been removed? I know for a fact that lurers are still making use of ruby harve...

Picking up cursed energy will give a popup to warn you that it will opt in to PvP which you must accept before picking up (assuming the energy is still there to be picked up)

You can no longer trade cursed energy (or other items that enable PvP) in the Wilderness

You can no longer duel in the Wilderness

You can no longer telegrab items that will opt you in to PvP in the Wilderness (e.g. cursed energies)

No, it will remain a 1 per world, PvP only item.

He's been increased to 95 due to the task list he now has, and the points he awards on task completion.

So will we protect 3 items as if we weren’t skilled or are we in a skulled state regardless?

When opted in to PvP you will be skulled regardless so skull death mechanics are in play. It's the signifier for who is, and who is not, opted in to PvP

Will walking into safe areas also reset. Thoughts being areas such as: dung, corp cave, mage arena lever.

There are some caves in the Wilderness (e.g. chaos tunnels) which are not marked as the Wilderness. Entering these areas will indeed reset your threat level.

Please give the monsters a chance to say “gf” or “gg” when they kill a player and maybe a 1% chance of saying “sit”. To keep it true to the runescape experience ofc

I think there's still time!

Could someone clarify the death mechanics?

If opted in to PvP you will lose your items, with any item saving prayers and items working as expected. You will be sent to Edgeville.

If opted out of PvP you will be sent to Death's office to buy your items back.

i got a question about the wildy drop trable, will it remain in place.. like being able to earn ancient warriors equipment patches as a drop on task. or will the chest you get as you finish your task replace the entire wildy drop table?

The pre-existing Wilderness drop table will remain and be rolled on throughout the task. The chest at the end of a task is a different drop table, with different loot.

Teleport restrictions remain the same.

Can the warning eventually be toggled off like a Doomsayer warning?

It can, though cursed Divination, warbands and picking up certain items (e.g. cursed energies) all have separate, toggleable warnings.

Demonic skull table?

We apologise for this confusion. The sentence in the article was changed and should be:
The Demonic Skull and Brawlers remain unchanged, and Demonic Skull will opt you into PvP

Revenant drop tables remain unchanged.

Love everything in the post! Quest hype. Wilderness hype.

Couple of questions:

- Is wilderness slayer the only thing that increases threat level?

- Is the Volcanic Protection mentioned in the drop table a consumable item?

Fishing, farming, Slayer, PvM, PvP, idling, mining, bloodwoods, warbands, and other wildy content increase your threat level.
