Someone said a jmod said that it would take a week and a half to fix the artifact collections not being collected in order. Hotfix today and now they are dropped in order.
Jagex can do so many things so fast... It is so crazy when they say it'll take 2-5x longer than it actually does.
The Jmod was just talking people through the process, Monday's update is very important to the launch of GIM the following week and so we are bein incredibly cautious with adding in quick fixes.
If those fixes cause more issues it can have a compounding affect and our QA team is already stretched getting ready for GIM, so in this instance the dev listened to players, looked into the situation, found a solution, ensured it not only solved the problem at hand but wouldn't cause a knock on effect and then pushed it through the hotfix pipeline to get it out as early as possible all the while openly communicating in real time with players about the potential timeline.
The necromancy ritual animation is a bit more active and extended and with several players in a small area spread out around the circle it was having a higher impact on performance then we were happy with.
Hey, this is a known issue that occurred in the most recent game update (ability override support for Necromancy was added).
I've submitted a fix for it and it's 'Awaiting QA'. Hoping to have it live with the next game update.
Yeah it definitely is strange. Who knows how they think over there.
Nothing to do with spaghetti (that term is overused) - the old currency was an object, the new one a variable (so it doesn't waste inventory space; a common, and fair, complaint). Old currencies should have all been zeroed out or converted.
I'm unsure why your old 6k tokens weren't zeroed out or converted - that tends to be how older holiday events handled their currencies at event end (and, from my understanding, what the code is supposed to do). EDIT: Read your comment on why you have these - yeah, that's an odd outlier case; perhaps this can be considered next Halloween...but no promises.)
One of the changes with these new holiday hubs has been to create dedicated seasonal tokens (with soft caps), precisely so they can be carried forward from year to year (with longer-term considerations around legacy shops, token emission rates and balancing going beyond a single year, so we don't have to keep reinventing the wheel).
(H'oddments will regain use again very soon.)
yeah, this interface could definitely use some improvement to actually showing the rewards - I’ve had a job in the seasonal improvements backlog for it since Easter
absolutely no guarantees (as the reward shop system is fairly old, so may be a bigger job than I anticipate), but I’ll take a look at it next game jam which is in november (probably setting myself up here now for weekly mentions on reddit until it’s improved 😅)
I'ma be honest...
These slap.
Good work, I really like the frosty t7 necrolord
Hey Folks, We have been reviewing reports of crashing in the Halloween Hub while playing on mobile. As we narrow in on the root cause there has been improvements for a number of players by turning off the "Terrain Blending" option in your Graphics setting.
Please turn this option off in the meantime and let me know if your crashes continues to persist.

Putting this here so I can find it when I get off work
Commenting below this so you can find it when you get off work.
Hehehe signed up, got to the computer spec parts and now feel I'll get declined cause I've got like maxed out specs PC wise and maybe they're not looking for that 😭
Well, you've signed up - all that's left to do now is to sit tight, and wait for an email from us...
There's no way team Famine is winning the week 2 clan competition, that's a token I will not be able to get.
Everyone who contributes to the Clan confections gets a horseman uniform token on week 2, no need to be in the winning team.
If your doing the Thieving or Arch ya have to hand in the things before ya get the tokens (for arch ya complete the collection)
I have a GTX 3070 but the only selection that was close enough was a 1070. I hope that'll be alright?
There should be 30 series cards on the list, I'll have a look in the morning, but please pick the closest series card if you can! Otherwise, hold fire until tomorrow and we'll get the list checked. Thank you!
Speaking of updating the wiki we had sent them across this list

After Stellar Dawn, I’m very much in a “wait and see” mode.
That's ok! We're very aware that this news may be met with some trepidation but that's the reason we're here today - to ask for help from folks to make this the best it can be. That way, the people who chose to "wait and see", will like what they see!
i've know of the project for a time now via things like job adverts for a "new survival game" and the such, and as a huge survival game enjoyer and runescape addict i'm really interested to see what Jagex can bring to the table, i think the only thing that actually beats my runescape playtime is my survival genre playtime in total.
here's hoping i get in, i'd like to think i know what makes a decent survival game given i've played well over 20k hours of them, i'd love to have the opportunity to help shape one with my feedback.
We're hoping to earn your praise with this one - it's a work in progress, so feedback like yours will be very valuable. We look forward to getting this in people's hands.
If you haven't heard from us by this time next week, don't lose hope, we're going to constantly be expanding our range of testers so keep your eyes peeled for an email from us!
