Attention pirates! The team have identified an issue with the global goals in the Fury of the Damned Event. Community Spirit Challenges have been disabled while we investigate, and we will update with more information as soon as we can. Personal Challenges are unaffected by this. You may see a delay in Seasonal Renown.

As you may have seen on social media, there has been a possible leak of Twitch users’ information. For safety, we would advise changing the password on your Twitch account and any others that use the same password. Please also ensure that you have two-factor authentication enabled on your Twitch account.


Once you have done this, please go to www.seaofthieves.com/twitch-drops where you should unlink and relink your Sea of Thieves and Twitch accounts, as changing your Twitch password will likely cause the accounts to disconnect and your Twitch Drops eligibility to be removed. Following this step should ensure you’re all good to go for the next set of Drops!

Following last night's reports of gold and reputation not being received when selling loot, some data has proved unrecoverable. Players who sailed the Sea of Thieves between 9pm BST 29th September and 10:30am BST 30th September will receive 100k gold and 60 Doubloons as compensation.

Gold and Doubloons will automatically appear next time eligible players log into Sea of Thieves. Please allow 72 hours for this to be added to your account. If you have not received the expected amounts in this time, please contact our Support Team for assistance: https://support.seaofthieves.com

We're aware that some players are reporting delays in receiving gold and reputation when cashing in loot. This is currently being investigated by the team and we will update as soon as we have more information.

We are aware of an issue that arose yesterday and prevented players from accessing the Sea of Thieves Support site. This has now been investigated and the issue resolved, so players needing to raise a support request should be able to do so as usual.

Given the debate surrounding PvE vs PvP has been going for some time, the team wanted to address it, laying out our vision and the design intent of the game. The team are aware of players encountering errors when attempting to start playing Sea of Thieves. We are currently investigating and will update as soon as we have more information.

Following investigations into Monday's reports of gold and reputation not received when selling loot, some data has proved unrecoverable. Players who sail the Sea of Thieves between Tuesday 4th August and Tuesday 17th August 10am BST will receive 50k gold and 30 Doubloons as compensation.

Please allow 72 hours from the time of playing for this to be applied to your account. We will also be following up on this with an official Forum post detailing the issues encountered and how they will be mitigated in future.
