After investigating, the team have now resolved the earlier issue with in-game voice chat. Players on Steam will just need to reboot the game and download a small update.

We are aware of reports that in-game voice chat is not currently working as intended for some players. We are investigating this and will provide an update when we know more.

We've looked into reports of gold, rep and Renown not being awarded on April 24th, and unfortunately, some data has proved unrecoverable. Players who were logged into Sea of Thieves between 3:00am-8:00am UTC on April 24th will receive a Gilded Voyage of Restitution as compensation.

Following player feedback, we are temporarily removing the Demolition Delights Bundle from the Microsoft and Steam stores while we add the Misfire Makeup cosmetic. This will bring it into line with the Barrel Bombardier Costume Bundle available from the Pirate Emporium.

Players who’ve already purchased the Demolition Delights Bundle will receive the Misfire Makeup in their Vanity Chest early next week, while players who’ve purchased both bundles will receive a refund in Ancient Coins for the Barrel Bombardier Costume Bundle.

All ship cosmetics have now been distributed following The Arena’s closure. Thank you for your patience as we worked through the player entitlements. If you reached the appropriate rank, these items should be available to equip from the Shipwright's Chest the next time you play.

Despite the changes implemented yesterday, we've seen continued reports of a lower than usual frequency of World Events. Investigations will be ongoing throughout the weekend with a view to further changes next week - more details as soon as we have them.

After further investigation, the team have implemented several changes to mitigate the earlier reports around World Events. We will monitor these changes and their impact overnight and update players tomorrow.
