Not sure if I'll be in the minority here but I think that his +1s were added in the clumsiest way possible tbh.

I like the idea on paper, in concept I really dislike having an "ability" with a cool down in the consumables slot, and the alternating one kinda sucks. It's like they had 2 cool ideas for him but failed to correctly consolidate them.

I'd much rather if they removed the alternating mod and added a stat boost instead, or a cd reduction for the 2, and replaced the consumable slot one to perma change either his 1, or 3.

In his current state , he feels slightly rushed

Hey Deities, we've seen a lot of community discussion around CC Buffering lately. We have been keeping up with all the threads and took some time to discuss our options internally. We have seen two major pieces of feedback that we are looking to address in a hotfix that is scheduled for next week.

TL;DR on the changes

  • Leaps will be excluded from the Buffering system, just like dashes or channels.
  • God animations will now complete their Postfires before they enter a CC posture state.
  • More details below!

Leaps have been the main frustration point in the CC Buffering system. We are happy that players seem to be generally happy with the direction of Buffering and its impact on their games, but having someone leap away when your ability landed has proven to be particularly frustrating. We discussed potential options, like pausing any duration based CC's while the god is untargetable and then resuming them when the god lands, but that...

Oo I love that actually

Are you having this issue in live matches or did you experience this in Practice?

Have the team looking into this! Can you shoot me your IGN so I can pass it over to the crew to investigate?

Vulcan's mod purchasing is a bit frustrating . ideally the mods would be grouped per levels, so selecting a level 1 mod would show the other two in the right side panel, kinda like with potions.

This is the official sub for the game, so yes they are.

That is incorrect. While we can communicate with HiRez, it's important to note that we are community members.

This has to be the dumbest thing I have seen all week. The ADL did not condemn the salute but a bunch of obsessed Redditors now bar people from posting links from one of the biggest social media platforms.

How laughable.

Biggest social media platforms

lol (dropped from 7th place since 2018)

How TF are you for all that when you blanket judge a person for partaking in something that is HIS OWN culture. Make it make sense.

You're making it abundantly clear in these comments that this decision was not based on "humanity".

Hinduism has so many beautiful, gorgeous symbols that represent amazing things without also representing a genocide of millions. Sounds to me like you just wanna wear a swastika.

I'm not trying to get you or anything. I have no agenda. I hardly even comment on this sub reddit. I have been playing this game for over 12 years and shared my thoughts on what I think is a stupid decision. That's all. Not everything is some one "attacking you" or trying to fish for a "gotcha" moment. The example i gave was to illustrate the slippery slope that exists when nuance and context is thrown out the window.

So if I, a Hindu, were to wear a Swastika, you would think less of me because - check notes - Hitler did it 100 years ago?

Yes - if it was the traditional swastika used by Hitler.

Edit: I want to edit this comment to make what I mean by this perfectly clear for anyone reading this, cause clarity is important. If you're hell bent on wearing/displaying a swastika tilted by 45 degrees with the iconography used by Hitler, I don't trust you. Traditional in my original sentence was supposed to be a substitute for 'iconic', or 'design', I know that the design Hitler used is not the same as the religious symbol. Swastika has a root in religion, but a Nazi salute does not. Bringing the two up together is just using Hinduism as a shield for your dogwhistles.

And remember, they are called dogwhistles because they can be easily excused, and if you call them out they call you the oppressor. Don't fall for their tactics.

End of edit. Like I said, I think this is crucial clarification and I don't plan to leave anything up for interpretation.

Figured my point would completely go over your head.

Swastika is a literal hindu symbol that is outside my house door right now. As a mod of a game that literally has Hindu deities I would expect you to have a little more knowledge on the subject. The west is not the only place on the planet. This is why context matters.

You just proved my point.

Wow you got me there good job. There's a difference between if someone wore it at a conservative rally, and if someone from an old practicing religion did it, and we are all aware of that.

However, the symbol has been used to commit absolute atrocities, so if I see someone who continues to willingly associate with it despite those atrocities, I will indeed think less of you.

Would you do the same if someone wore a swastik? A symbol that conjures polarizing reactions depending on context and where one is from?

Yes lmao, if someone wore a f*cking swastika we would do the same what even is this question.

Don't give me that "oh it's a symbol of peace" bullsh*t go do it in Germany and see how they feel.

This thread has 300+ comments and I don't have notifications on - I just happened to see the other one when I was doing the moderating.

We have no links to HiRez, and the moderation of this subreddit does not reflect HiRez in any way, positive or negative.

The only thing in this scenario we confirmed with them is the fact that bsky will be getting same posts as the X account, so that we can confidently make the swap. They had nothing to do with this decision.

Be better than sharing the excuses to the dogwhistles. If the Neonazis are excited about it, believe them.
