We’re halfway through Year 10 and what better way to celebrate than with the BIGGEST GEM GIVEAWAY EVER!

Now through August 17 over 10 Million Gems are up for grabs. And the best part? All you have to do is play SMITE to be eligible to receive a share of the pool! Here’s how things will work out:

  • Dates: July 28 (first winner drawn at 11 am ET) - August 18 (final winner drawn at 10:30 am ET)
  • Every 30 minutes a random winner will be selected from the pool of players who have played at least 1 game in the past hour
  • Each winner receives 10,000 Gems (for a total of 1,008 unique winners with a total prize pool of 10,080,000 Gems)
  • Any player that has played a game of SMITE (Outside of Practice and Custom Games) during the event time frame is eligible!

What happened with the Charon Avatar?

Avatar will be granted with the 10.8 Update since people have the full 10.7 Update to get him Diamond and be eligible for the reward!

Thanks for the report! This is unintended and the team is looking into a fix.

Edit/Correction: Apologies, after talking with the team I've been informed that this skin does not have a new voice pack.

New God Release: Charon - The Ferryman




Passive - Ferryman of Souls
If Charon is in assist range while any friendly lane minion or jungle monster dies, their essence persists for Charon to collect for 8s, granting him 1 gold and a Soul stack each. When Charon returns to base, he loses all Soul stacks and gains a permanent 2 Max Health per stack.

Spectral Surge
Charon plucks a soul out of the Styx, firing it as a line projectile that damages and Slows all enemies while stopping on the first god hit. If the soul hits an enemy god, it then explodes in a damaging and Silencing area around the target. All enemy gods hit by the explosion leave behind a damaging, Slowing trail of the ... Read more
