Someone's feelin' froggy🐸
One could say these are... slick moves!
Great job, keep it up! (Great lookin' Keymaster btw!)
Great job, LOVE seeing another Keymaster!
I'm guessing they said, "that.... sucked" 🌪😅
Good one!
Don't forget to activate Windows 👀
Wait it isn't?
Nope. It's unfortunate but very true.
It HAS to be a meme lmaooo
I wish!
Hey folks,
We’ve been investigating the black screen issue that’s unfortunately still affecting Switch players and we’ve discovered a workaround to prevent it from happening. If you disable aim assist in Settings -> Gameplay -> “Aim Assist Enabled”, you should no longer encounter the black screen.
I know it’s not ideal and I’m sorry I don’t have better news while we work on the actual fix.
Thanks to the many players who have helped us track this down and test out the possible causes!
External link →Let's be real, we're all both people at different times, and that's ok.
Folks don't get worked up about something they don't care about. If players magically stopped complaining or expressing critical feedback about certain aspects of the game, we'd be far more concerned than we are by folks coming here to share their experiences.
As long is the critique stays focused on the work, and not the worker, it's all gravy and welcome feedback.
Where can I find info on upcoming streams
Our socials! Also, if you look on Twitch, you'll see a schedule tab with times. Tuesday is our community streams with me, Wednesday night is office hours with Seth, Thursday night is after hours with Andy. See you there!
I really hope this didn't come off as bashing, I just see the amount of friends who have moved away from it because of the mentioned.
It's really frustrating because I love this game but can't get friends into it because they don't want to get stomped. I hope ya'll find a balance soon. Thank you for the response.
It didn't, and I understand and empathize with what you're saying here.
Hopefully your friends will give Clash a look when that comes out.

I'm not a doctor, but you should get that cough looked at 👀
The problem with developers is that when your game is good, you always think you're right about everything. Even when you lose a large part of your players base.
By no means do we think we're right about everything, and are very quick to be critical of ourselves.
For example: The point that we're working on Seasonal content (the Chapters) is meant to directly address the criticism that we need to give players more reasons to keep playing Spellbreak. We agree with this sentiment, and have prioritized it accordingly :).
We're not afraid to take a stance, and will acknowledge when we are wrong about said stance.
Read moreHey I wanted to post something like this, I love this freaking game, I just started a few weeks ago but put in the practice to get 5-6 solo wins a night. I love this game. It was not fun getting started though.
I've posted this everywhere, if they don't work on making it accessible to new players with something like skill based matchmaking or maybe arena modes to learn the combat. Most new players are just gonna get frustrated and uninstall, you've got these poor level 6's going up against level 40+'s.
I feel awful every time I run into an obviously new player, I know the pain. On top of that grinding all the classes to 6 gets difficult, but you've got to just to get the talents to compete.
I really do hope they work on these things because I'd love to see this game take over but if they don't encourage new players to stick with it somehow, and stop dropping them into lobbies with the best players in this game it just won't last. You can do that in ...
More game modes, improving the new player experience, etc, are all things that are equally as important to us. :)
We're actively working on more reasons to keep playing the game once you're past the initial starting phase.
I understand a lot of the bugs and stuff, game dev is hard but this issue is something that would be easy to fix, I'm sure some of the better players would be willing to wait a little bit just to get a lobby of good players vs bots and fresh players. I know I would at least.
I can understand how it might appear that the items you've outlined above as being an easy fix. While there are some adjustments that we can make rapidly (how the queues are balanced out), many QOL improvements require time invested and prioritization.
Your thoughts are appreciated.
Let's go line by line here:
Read moreThe playerbase has decreased immensely since launch. It's visible in every platform, and in the game itself. There's zero hype for the game currently despite marketing having apparently been put into motion. The first couple weeks this sub went up 5-10k members a day, and has struggled to go up more than 200 a day since. Twitch peaked at it's highest on launch day at 70k and has died down to 2k at most across everyone, any day of the week. "But social media doesn't determine population". You're right, it's just an indicator. But what's your excuse for the getting lobbies full of bots then? There's so much PR bull about "oh it's just a bug where we get bots".... lol they came up with that excuse once people started to complain about it. There is no bot bug. It's filling with bots because not that many people are playing.
People aren't playing because the game feels alpha at best, and the devs would rather tell new players an...
Read moreidk if you've ever watched while andy streams but all his keywords are supportLGBTQIAcreators, supportblackcreators, votedemocratic, etc. Which are great things to support, but I do not think they have a place putting politics into a game aimed at children.
If anything those keywords might actually hold some wait if THEY actually supported black and LGBT streamers instead of just giving free shit to Sypher, and playing with Marcus and Ohpee for the 100th time.
It's a weird grey area. Either it's hypocritical because they're not supporting the people they keyword for, or it's awkward because if they raid a black streamer then suddenly it seems like "we followed this guy cause hes black" type shit lol
Like I said it just has no place whatsoever as keywords to win a skin in a childrens game. Especially trying to tie a prize to things like telling people to vote one way or another. I'm personally liberal, and even the stuff he talks about on stream is inapprop...
We've never once said "Vote democratic" or anything resembling it. All of the other keywords I use, such as SupportBlackCreators, have zero to do with politics and align with our goals of creating an inclusive and welcoming community. It's our responsibility to ensure that everyone sees themselves as welcome and represented in the Spellbreak community.
We have convictions behind our belief. We've made donations to the NAACP LDF, have raised funds as a studio for the Marsha P. Johnson Foundation (on our personal time), and will continue to support causes that align with our studio values, such as Extra Life for Kids.
We are very clear as to the reason for the community streams. From the onset, we always clarify the purpose of the streams (to answer viewer questions and engage with players through viewer games and chat), and never market them as anything but.
The people who stream for you on Tuesday and Thursdays are part of the Community t...
Read moreWhy are two of the best skins blind faith and hollow so exclusive? I mean at least make it so we can get one of them via battle pass. Jesus chris
Blind Faith was only available for the Limited Edition founder packs from 2018. They aren't given out at all due to being part of limited edition purchases.
Grind to become a big content creator or streamer and ive heard the devs will give it to you for free that’s prolly the only way to get it other then tuning in to the proletariat streams
We've given them away for a number of reasons. The first time, it was for people who found a dev at PAX 2019 and asked about it. After that, there were various quests we came up with during alpha/beta play tests, events, special things that have been done for the game, etc. Basically, it's an outfit that the community team distributes on a super limited basis in a variety of ways they deem fit.

Rumors have it the Hallow skin might come around the shop for halloween
The Hollow Outfit will not be in the shop.
