Hey, Splitfam. Thanks to everyone who participated in the Open Alpha. It was a massive success, thanks to all of you—especially those of you who filled out the feedback survey or sent us your thoughts on Discord.

We’re already hard at work making improvements based on what we learned, but we also want to take a moment to celebrate what went well. Across the board, the feedback we got from players was that this was a big improvement from our Closed Alpha last summer. Take a look at this infographic:



We know there is still more work to do, but we’re feeling confident we’re headed in the right direction—and that’s thanks to all of you.

Spot a developer while playing Splitgate 2 (you can’t miss ‘em with their flaming disco ball heads!), take them out, and earn rewards! There are three Dev Killer skins up for grabs, one for each of our three factions, so be sure to take out a dev playing Aeros, Meridian, and Sabrask to unlock them all.

The devs will be out in force between 10AM PT and 2PM PT on Saturday, March 1, so don’t miss your best chance to unlock all three Dev Killer skins before the Open Alpha weekend concludes.

SEASON 1 CHALLENGE REWARD It’s time to reveal the reward for completing all Season 1 Challenges. There are four stages in total, with the final stage releasing on March 31. Complete every challenge and you get this incredible Shogun skin.

EMP EFFECT IMPROVED

• Ever tossed an EMP ‘nade at an enemy portal and thought, “I sure wish this effect was turned to 11?” Us, too! Well, our VFX artist Pavel Mazanik went into the lab and cranked this sucker right to 12. Now your portal poppin’ grenades will have a little extra pizzazz. Check it with your eyeballs.
