There may be a bug if you have windows set to some languages. Is your OS set to english? If not, we are working on a fix for that.

The ice crusher is warming up the water, before releasing it. This is to prevent water from refreezing due to phase change in a variety of situations. If you dont have the energy/time to have the ice crusher warm up the water, you can always melt it in a furnace, or in a warm world grid, and collect the melted water. You can also set the logic value "setting" on the ice crusher to control what temperature it wants to target. By default the water will flow out at 20C.

The custom world button will be removed, it shouldn’t still be there on beta.

You can make custom worlds still but they must be as an actual new world mod.

Note this has been changed in beta to be more in line with what you would expect. Creative is now a difficulty. Difficulty settings are also fully moddable

We identified some issues that would cause this, and recently put a major change in to fix some of the causes for this on beta

No problem at all, and you posting helped me fix the bug. Only feedback is it’s great to make a new thread (like this) as then we all see it easier and not think it’s an old bug.

It was a serious bug and important to fix, so thank you for helping us find it!

Note this is a beta bug. Please don’t post the same thing in multiple places and in different threads, that aren’t relevant to the issue. A fix is being deployed to beta now. The beta updates very often, so for a stable experience best to play on main branch

We have been completely redoing rockets, so you will build them completely in a similar way you build other structures. Additionally we have redone and fixed a number of other problems and bugs.

You can read through the coming changelog on discord.

It’s a very big update!

Note in a future update we are planning to add more advanced suits, which will have the ability to have seperate cooling tanks with (for example) liquid cooling tank instead of the game trying to use gas to do so

The beta branch had been quite unstable, and had game breaking bugs. However it is now getting quite stable as we stopping adding features and started just bug fixing. I just finished about six hours on the beta branch with no game breaking bugs, though a few fixes I will be putting in tomorrow

You can find the specific requirements in the tradeables.xml. This suit acted as a test for us to see what more complicated buy requests could be like, and what we might want to improve before we do more requests like this.

It should be requesting a 'functioning' hard suit. The Oxygen tank(printed empty tank, then filled to 100 or greater) should be in the suits tank slot, and an empty tank in the waste slot, and the charged large battery in the battery slot. The filter request actually wants just 1x filter, meaning any of the 3 filters can fulfil the request. I dont see what the 240 mole tank... Read more

you can also mod your own difficulty settings, but you need to do this by adding a difficulty setting as a mod to the main game.

We're currently working on redefining the play area, including the size, how it is generated, and what it looks like. These things are essential to do before considering vehicles of any kind as it has a big impact. Once that's done we can revisit vehicles and what they might be used for. For now there are no solid plans or work underway though.

Hitting escape should pause the game. However, there are a couple of reasons it may not have paused: a bug, if someone joined your game, at which point it will unpause, or if you're running a dedicated server. I'll test tomorrow but I doubt it will be a straight forward reproduction if it's a bug.

We definitely live by a "its ready when its ready" rule. That being said, my best guess is that Bigfoot is in the right kind of ballpark.

They caused huge performance problems, however we're looking at adding cameras for rockets so that you can monitor your rocket and feel connected to them while they're off in space. If that goes well then we'll definitely look at utilizing that work for a return of security cameras. :-)

It is a serious issue for us.

We will be releasing a survey, posting the details here and on Discord, to ask the community which action they recommend we take, and how we should take it.

We are open to migrating the game to an alternate engine.

Totally understand where you are coming from, but I do I want to be very clear, it is not a "if you don't agree with me", it is this:

If you direct criticism towards or attack an employee, no matter how "legitimate" your criticism, then we will take action. This also extends to moderators, and to developers of other games as well.
This is a hard line stance, and has nothing to do with agreeing with me or not. And that includes products that I do not like, or developers that I do not like. This is simply not the place to discuss concerns with other products. And if you do so, you will be warned, the posts may be deleted, and you may be banned - regardless of the veracity of what you post.

This is a forum to discuss Stationeers, and that includes criticism of Stationeers. But it is not a space to criticize other developers, as much as it is not a space to criticize employees.

I hope that provides some clarity.
