Hi Holotable Heroes,

Today’s update addresses some of the known issues in yesterday’s release. One important change is to raid units. All raid units will be immune to changes to their max Health. This already applied to Raid Bosses so this will only impact the additional enemies in boss encounters. This change will prevent the lock up some players were experiencing when trying to retreat from battle with certain characters.

  • GENERAL - Updated all enemy units in all raids to be immune to increases and decreases in Max Health
  • UI - Fixed an issue that caused the interface to be hidden during the Ultimate animations for Galactic Legends Rey and Kylo Ren including the amount of damage dealt
  • UI - Fixed the find tool to include Kylo Ren’s event when looking for Ultimate Ability Materials

In this update, we’re proud to present Galactic Challenges! This all-new game mode represents a huge step for Galaxy of Heroes as it lays the foundation of our new content initiative, allowing us to generate fresh content, challenges, and feats on a regular basis going forward.

With Galactic Challenges, players will be presented with new battles that provide the opportunity to utilize many parts of their character and ship roster in a fun and meaningful way. Galactic Challenge events keep the game fresh and engaging by offering interesting and unique encounters that feature always-changing combinations of modifiers, locations, and conditions, along with multiple tiers of difficulty. Modifiers add a wide range of positive and negative effects to the battle, meaning you’ll have to mix up your strategies to succeed.

It's possible, as others have said, that assets are still being downloaded after the update. Is this still happening for you?

Hi Holotable Heroes,

We are excited to announce that we have started to roll out the next Title Update! You may see an Update in the app store over the next 24 hours but we will require devices to update tomorrow when we release the final part of the Update. You should see no changes in the client today even if you update and you won’t be able to access Galactic Challenges just yet. Check back tomorrow for the full list of Update notes, some long awaited bug fixes, and Galactic Challenges!

Selfishly speaking Im glad this hasn't changed much, if at all, since I left. It’s a good mode, it was fun to create and figure out how to make it flexible so it can actually provide different kinds of experiences and encourage different team builds.

Im definitely excited to play it, this is something we had been talking about internally for a long time and its a mode the game can build on for future stuff as well.

Our upcoming Title Update will arrive next week and that means Galactic Challenges are almost here! Today we’ll share more details about Galactic Challenges, and the complete Update Notes will be posted with the release.

Behind the curtain, this Update really has two parts: a whole new set of tools for us to create events more efficiently, and Galactic Challenges, the first type of event built using this new toolset. This greatly expands our options to create even more events and game modes in the future. We will be closely monitoring Galactic Challenges over the next few weeks and we already have plans to expand this feature after our initial exhibition period.

Hi Holotable Heroes,

Our next Title Update will change how a battle determines which units will go next when multiple units have 100% Turn Meter. Currently, turn order is chosen randomly from all units that have 100% Turn Meter which can lead to some unpredictable results in a match. The new system defines a couple of new turn order rules for units with over 100% Turn Meter to help create more expected outcomes. Our internal testing showed that this change had little impact on match ups but we will be closely monitoring for any significant changes.

In this system, units can have their Turn Meter “overflow” 100%. Units must still reach 100% Turn Meter to take a turn, but the order of the turns will be determined by the unit with the most Turn Meter overflow. The Turn Meter overflow does not act as a buffer against Turn Meter reduction. When a unit with Turn Meter overflow has their Turn Meter reduced, they forfeit all “overflow Turn Meter” before having their 100% Tu... Read more

not a bug, working exactly as stated in his description, but certainly a unwelcome interaction between Vader zeta lead, DoTs and GG's automatic turn after getting damaged 7 times or something in that direction.

GG slowly takes Damage and will eventually die after a few hours or so.
