Greetings from up North!

My name�s Jay, and I�ve been with BioWare since the days of Neverwinter Nights. The last 12+ years have been spent on the writing side of game development, getting my start on the tail end of Mass Effect 2. About a year and half ago, I jumped at the chance to work with the talented SWTOR team down in Austin and haven�t looked back.

For a kid that grew up playing with Star Wars action figures, it�s been a tremendous privilege of adding a few of my own stories to the vast Star Wars universe. Two of my favorite new characters - Jekiah and Rass Ordo - were introduced in the flashpoint, Spirit of Vengeance.

We�re going through all the feedback that�s being posted here. Thank you to everyone who has been providing constructive feedback and answering the questions listed in the feedback thread. There is a lot to read through, but we wanted to acknowledge that we are reading your posts.

One note that we are seeing is concerns of our overall lack of addressing questions in real time that have popped up. We know that this can be frustrating but at this stage of the feedback process, but we need your raw constructive criticism without us potentially changing or tainting it. This is especially important in the first few days of PTS and what we will be following for future phases of PTS. Thanks for reporting this bug with Koth's Crew in the Gravestone. This bug is a known issue. Our team is still looking into it.

As this thread is a duplicate of the following one: Gravestone is filled with npcs before visiting Asylum, I am closing yours to avoid several threads about the same topic.

Ready to dive into PTS? Here are the steps you need to follow in order to try out the Jedi Guardian.
  • Create a NEW Jedi Guardian. You will spawn in during the first scene of the Jedi Knight. You can safely escape out of this cutscene.
  • All PTS characters have been deleted in order to ensure 7.0 compatibility, so character transfer is off for this phase. Character copy (from live servers) will not be available until later phases of testing.
  • Your new Jedi Guardian will begin on Tython. Head towards the first taxi area and you�ll see a �PTS Droid� waiting to teleport you to the Republic Fleet. Do not take the taxi. Look to the right and you will see a droid named PTS Fleet Teleport (-547, -1254 coordinates)
  • This will take you to Tython and Ord Mantell Departures Area. Leave this area into the main level of the fleet.
  • Hook a right into the Combat Training area of the fleet into the northern most room where the Jedi Knight trainer is.

  • Is there anything that feels missing or out of place in the combat rotation?

Welcome to our first phase of PTS featuring the Jedi Guardian Combat Style. In case you missed it, we go through a bit of the philosophy behind the updates we’re making to Combat Styles in this article.

Thanks for reporting this bug with the "undefined" button in the In-game Help window.

Our team is aware of this bug. For visibility, I'm adding this bug to the Game Update 6.3.1 - Known Issues list:
  • An "undefined" button is displayed in the in-game help portal in the Character Selection screen preventing players from creating a ticket in this window.
