Is the shard system to upgrade little legends supposed to come out with today's patch or is it for the future?

Is there a delay or something, because my missions done on mobile haven't counted in the PC client..
Most TFT missions have a delay where until the full game ends the missions don't update. So if you get out in 8th it can be a while because until someone wins and that game shuts down the missions don't update.
How long is the delay you're seeing?

Yes, but at that point it will be retroactive since the next week of missions rolls out tomorrow in most regions and the "Play" mission that starts tomorrow will already have the change.

Fixing the mission at this point wouldn't give many players enough time to fix it. We don't want you to miss out on pass XP due to a missions bug, so we're looking at different ways to get makeup XP distributed.
A preferred option right now is taking the "Play 1 Game" mission for next week and adding xp to it.
If the rng gives you the variant you picked yes.
So if you bought purple samurai pengu 1 star then if the egg is giving you purp samu pengu it will be guaranteed 2* or 3* next
The egg doesnt guarantee you get purp samu pengu though. It will still have chances of giving you other variants but if you do get samu pengu, then you will get 2* or 3*

It was definitely not working correctly for me. And the issue was not that it took too long to update.
I played one game on the new patch since the new missions came out and I had 3 units with 3 items by the time the game ended (you can check my match history or I can provide a screenshot for that if you want proof).
I have played a second game a few hours later.After the first game, it did update... but only one out of the three units actually counted towards mission progress.
Maybe it was an issue with the specific galaxy (Treasure Trove) or the fact that some of those items came from the Kayn boss?Thank you for answering though!

Yes, you can make progress on TFT matches that you play on mobile. You will need to go onto PC client to see your progress and interact with the event though.
