[2020] FPS dropping

Hey everyone!

Thanks for reaching out and bringing this up.

Based on the information that has been provided so far, it seems that everyone is having issues in offline mode only. Some players have FPS issues whilst using controller, and others seem to be having problems despite not using controller at all.

Before this gets forwarded, I would like to ask you to try completing steps outlined in the following article, and let us know whether issue persists.

Thanks for keeping us up to date and I am sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue too.

Just for testing purposes, have you also tried unplugging controller at the same time, to see if issue remains?

The issue is with STEAM allowing your controller to be used as a mouse and keyboard. Trackmania then detect you're using a controller and a keyboard at the same time and lags a lot.
go in Steam big picture mode, controller settings, and untick Xbox and Ps4 configuration support.

We have completed some updates on the game since your last message, would it be possible to confirm if this issue still persists?

If it does would you be able to provide a reference for your controller (if not an official ps4 controller) to help us investigate further?
