I agree that we can make it clearer that you can post in the main category, or just rename some things (General Discussion → Community, Feedback → General, for example) as some of those categories may be redundant. I’m not sold on Testlive needing its entire own category, but if that’s something that’s needed down the line, it would be very easy to do so. I also don’t think I can mix and match styles like you propose.

Either way, at this time I think I’d like for the changes to settle in and we see how things end up getting used, and then we can make further adjustments as needed. We’ve already shifted things around a lot and I’d like to minimize further major shifts so quickly.

Ah, yeah, I’ve made some minor changes to the profanity filter too. ;D

Quick update: Changed the Patch Notes icon from the magnifying glass to a parchment & quill, and added console brand logos to their respective console forum icons.

Servers are back up.

The servers will come down for a restart 2021-05-20T13:00:00Z(check this link to see when this is in your timezone). The downtime is estimated to take 1 hour.

We’ve migrated posts from the #archive:dedicated-servers category to their respective sections; there may be some individual posts that are in the incorrect section due to the bulk action, but it should mostly be fine. We went back through this January; anything from 2020 and back will be delisted and placed in an archive.
